Keeping Up With the Kardashians is minus one more following Kourtney Kardashian's announcement on Twitter that she was officially done with the show. What was initially a break from the hit reality series has evolved into full-on retirement for the media personality.

The big reveal came on the heels of Kourtney admitting to cameras on a recently aired episode of the series' new season that she would be stepping back due to an altercation that unfolded between her and her younger sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West.

The fight was an intense one, but wasn't their first, and probably wouldn't be their last. However, the budding entrepreneur felt it was the right thing to do to take a step back to prevent any further damage to their relationship. KUWTK undoubtedly put Kourtney on the map as a woman of money, power and influence.

But now the Poosh founder and the mother-of-three wants to step out of her role as a series regular and appear every once in a while when moments call for it. Otherwise, she's out.

The limelight can be an unforgiving place, add that to cameras filming your every move nonstop, societal pressures, and the microscope that comes with the public watching your every move, anyone could get fed up with reality. Kourtney, included. Her biggest draw for raising her white flag is her struggle with her sisters.

Their fragile relationship hit a fever pitch in a newly aired episode when a verbal fight turned physical to the surprise of fans and the sisters' family members alike.

Too much closeness can break even the happiest of relationships, even those among sisters. "I’m definitely disappointed in myself. I don’t think that my response was matching up with what her exact comment was. Being violent isn’t the answer, but it was just the build up of years and months and everything," Kourtney commented about the fight.

It wasn't all bad, however. A much-needed conversation blossomed that probably wouldn't have otherwise happened if it wasn't for the fight. There, Kourtney was able to explain to her sisters just how deep her struggles went.

The conversation, which was mediated by Khloe's BFFs, twin sisters Khadija and Malika Haqq, allowed the girls to get to the bottom of what caused the fight and ultimately led Kourtney to revealing her issues to her sisters. "I feel like I’m on this hamster wheel, and it’s just not something I can continue to do. I think some big changes need to happen."

Big changes like stepping back from filming, no doubt. Kourtney doesn't plan to quit-quit, but she does want to have more control over what the world has access to in her life and what they don't.

"I’ve decided to take a big step back from filming and really just pick and choose what I will allow cameras to follow. I think just know when I have something that I find is interesting to film, or that I would feel excited to film, that I do that," she shared.

In addition to that, Kourtney expressed that she was tired of feeling bullied by her siblings, especially when differences in opinions or work ethic comes into play. "I just feel like every day, it’s like they just pick on me and I just can’t do it anymore. I feel like I’m almost more mad at Khloé than Kim, ’cause I expect it from Kim. But, like, Khloe just takes everyone’s side, always, except for me—when I’m not even asking her opinion."
