From being an actress to a Duchess, wife, and mother, to finally stepping out on her own again (taking Harry with her), Meghan Markle has had quite the exciting few years. And everything she does, now, becomes a benchmark for women to follow, or rather, strong women to follow. So legitimately, we would also love to know if she is back to drinking since the first phase of pregnancy and motherhood has passed. While she was never a lush, who doesn’t like a bit of wine now and then?
While most of the world sees her as an independent woman who tried to do right by her husband and his family, Royal as it may be, she finally took a stand. With her husband, Prince Harry, firmly by her side, Meghan Markle stepped back and away from the Royal Family, considering the rough road she had faced ever since saying “I do” to Harry. Others saw her as a Hollywood brat who could not adjust to the finer things of life, aka. royalty.
Meghan Markle has always been health conscious. And while she was always fond of wines, she went cold turkey during her pregnancy. And not just that, she gave up on caffeine as well. The house rules also applied for Prince Harry and considering his near-lush status, that was quite an impressive feat. It also shows how bonded and committed Harry was to Meghan and their child, which is why he was able to take a step back from his Royal family and life when push came to shove.
It’s not as if Meghan suddenly discovered health and the need to be healthy when she conceived little Archie. She has always been health-conscious, preferring to start her day with fruit and loving Acai bowls. While she does not hit the gym or do heavy workouts, she loves doing yoga and going for runs. Plus she also says that the Tracy Anderson DVDs are a great way to get healthy. A lot of her good habits have rubbed onto Prince Harry as well, and that’s a good thing.
Meghan Markle has always behaved impeccably in the public eye, during her role as a royal and now a wife and mother. But even good girls can have a bit of fun, especially when they love wine and no longer need to keep away from it. Meghan has always had a fondness for wines, so its only natural that she has gone back to her favorite dessert, a glass of red wine, or two. Remember, she even named her lifestyle blog, The Tig, after her favorite wine, Tignanello…
