Idris Elba Updated Fans Telling Them His Most Aggressive Coronavirus Symptom

Actor Idris Elba checked in with his fans after letting the world know he had tested positive for COVID-19 or Coronavirus, and that he was staying in isolation.

"What's up people, just wanted to send you a little update on how we're doing," Elba, 47, began his broadcast.

The actor updated his fans, saying that while he and his wife had both tested positive, they were feeling alright.

"We're both doing OK, still asymptomatic; we've passed the quarantine period, but we're a little bit stuck in limbo.

Elba Told Fans He Was Stuck Away From Home

“We can't get a flight back home, so we just have to sit still for a little bit," Elba said. It is believed that the actor ad his wife are in New Mexico where his recent film was being produced.

"Other than that, we're OK and we're so thankful for that," Elba continued in the video. "I think the worst of it has probably passed."

Their biggest symptom seems to be “cabin fever,” according to Elba’s recent post.

"We're both good, mentally, just trying to stay optimistic.”

Elba Wished His Fans Well

“I hope you guys are, [staying optimistic] too, keeping yourselves sane and not getting too worried and too panicked," Elba said.

"Take it from me, I thought I was definitely going to see the worst of it as an asthmatic, but thankfully I came through and you can, too."

"Just a big shoutout to everyone that's helping other people, especially the doctors and nurses and health care people that are doing their thing, you lot are amazing and should be fully appreciated," he said.

The former daytime TV host is looking to speak to those who’ve had the virus and what the rest of us can do to avoid it, and the show will be available in more than 100 countires, according to USA Today.

Winfrey is looking to not only answer questions but debunk some of the avidly prolific myths that have been circling this deadly virus.

Winfrey is addressing the issue on the minds of many Americans as the coronavirus pandemic spreads across the globe. Elba like many celebs is encouraging fans to practice social distancing.
