Selena Gomez Fans Divided Over Rumored Relationship With Chris Evans

Selena Gomez and Chris Evans have been heating up the relationship rumor mill since late October.

Fans of Sel and Evans have been finding clues that hint there might be a little somethin’, somethin’ going on between them.

Last month, the “Captain America” actor followed SelGo on Instagram.

After the “groundbreaking” follow, Evans posted a video of himself playing the piano.

Seems innocent right?

Well, internet sleuths described seeing a girl with a short brown bobbed haircut in the reflection of the video.

Many thought it could’ve been Selena taking the video.

Selena currently has a haircut matching this description, and she even admitted to having a crush on the actor during a taping of Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live.”

It was many moons ago, but still, a crush is a crush.

Now the internet has gone into full FREAK OUT mode over the rumored couple, because of something the ‘Only Murders’ actress wore in a recent TikTok.

Over the weekend, Sel’s BFF Taylor Swift performed on ‘SNL.’

Prior to taking the stage to perform her 10-minute rendition of “All Too Well,” TSwift was having some fun in her dressing room and published it all on TikTok.

In the video, Taylor can be seen lip-syncing, “Oh no! My bestie is a bad b***h.”

She pans the camera over to Selena who then lip-syncs an evil laugh.

Selena is wearing a white knitted sweater and sporting her new signature bob.

While the video was innocent and funny, fans of SelGo went into full detective mode over the sweater.

Many are drawing comparisons to the sweater Evans wore in “Knives Out.”

The video was reposted by TikTok user @marmaryeesa2021. She drew comparisons between Sel’s sweater and Chris’.

The video shows Sel in the sweater and transitions to a picture of Evans from Entertainment Weekly in a similar looking sweater.

Some fans agreed the similarities are very telling, while others thought it was reaching.

One person commented, “She’s giving us hints and we’re just so oblivious!”

“THE WAY YOU CONNECTED THE DOTS SO QUICK😂,” one replied.

Another devoted fan explained they're losing sleep over trying to figure out if Evans and Sel are together.

“I am losing sleep trying to figure out if Chris and Selena are together, Taylor is our last hope. What does it all mean, Taylor?? I KNOW YOU KNOW,” they wrote.

People on the other side of this debate were not amused by the sweater comparisons.

“It’s literally not even close to the same sweater,” an annoyed fan commented.

Another said, “Jesus Christ it's just a sweater that most people have y’all are reaching.”

“Y’all do the most I can’t deal 😭😭,” a rather upset fan replied.

Neither Selena nor Evans have commented on the rumors.
