"I feel like society makes me want to feel like, 'Oh, you got it wrong…' They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love," Rihanna stated, explaining that her relationship with any potential child comes before that with a partner in any circumstance.

Now, the 32-year-old mogul is just looking to position herself so that she won't have to be constantly hopping from business venture to business venture in ten years, and could focus more on raising a family.

"I’m working like this now so that I don’t have to in the future," the singer said, explaining why she occupies herself with so many career positions at this point in life, adding, "I know I will want to live differently. In ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient."

In regards to forthcoming music, Rihanna was candid as ever, only offering fans a few small hints as to what was to come with her highly anticipated ninth album, dubbed 'R9.'

"I can't say when I'm going to drop," the singer mentioned to the publication before adding, "But I am very aggressively working on music."

"There are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out."

Rihanna recently made her return to the music world with a surprise feature on singer PartyNextDoor's highly anticipated album 'PARTYMOBILE.'
