'Counting On' Star Anna Duggar Reveals New Baby, Amid Husband's Criminal Case

Anna Duggarannounced the birth of her 7th child, amid her husband Josh Duggar's child pornography arrest.

The '19 Kids and Counting' star shared a picture of the newborn baby on Instagram, along with a caption revealing the little girl's name. "Meet little Madyson Lily Duggar!" the 33-year-old reality star posted.

In the photo, the baby is sleeping on her stomach and wearing a little yellow flower in her hair. It appears the baby's first pictures are a setup photoshoot, with a grey carpet backdrop.

According to the post, the baby girl arrived on October 23, 2021, at 2:39 a.m. As you know, Josh and Anna are parents to six other children, Mackenzie, 11, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 3, and Maryella, 23 months. Anna announced the pregnancy on social media several months back, saying, "It’s a GIRL!!!!!" adding, "We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!"

Of course, one of the family members commented on the picture, saying "She is darling!!!"

The birth of the couple's seventh child comes on the heels of Josh Duggar's arrest and charges for receiving and possessing child pornography. The reality star has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and a trial is set to begin in July. After the arrest, TLC canceled the Duggar's television show -- Counting On -- releasing a statement saying, "TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family opportunity the address their situation privately."

According to court records, Josh Duggar is accused of "allegedly using the internet to download child sexual abuse material. Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019." It should be noted, a federal grand jury in the Western District of Arkansas indicted the reality star for "knowingly" receiving images of children under the age of 12.

Duggar's attorneys issued a statement following the not guilty plea, saying, "In this country, no one can stop prosecutors from charging a crime. But when you’re accused, you can fight back in the courtroom – and that is exactly what Josh intends to do."

At this point, it's unclear if Anna Duggar and Josh are still happily married and living in the same household. At one point, Josh was ordered to live in "a residence where there are no minors in the home." In other words, he was not allowed to return home to his family, after he is released on bail. 

Back in April, Anna included Josh in the gender reveal, posting a video of herself holding an umbrella and showering herself in pink ribbons while her husband and children look on. Obviously, the allegations, in this case, haven't completely split the couple.

If convicted, Duggar faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
