Over the years we have rarely seen Ariana Grande without her signature ponytail. You know the one. The one that is high on her head and falls down still super long. We love it and love seeing it on her. It is her signature style and after so long we all forgot that her hair isn’t that long or that straight.
The singer kept her look that we are all a little shocked. It has been so long since we last saw it that it doesn’t even look like Ariana Grande.
With the outbreak of COVID-19 the world has seen over 600,000 people impacted worldwide at this point. Ariana has decided to show the world her locks out of her signature style. Why not? It isn’t like we can go anywhere right?
So why not take a break and let the natural hair breathe for a while. Who knows, maybe she will grow to love it just as much as the fans seem to love it as well. It can’t hurt to try right?
She captured her photo on Instagram with “get a load of dis” Which the fans really did. Fans started pouring in with the love for her hair. Commenting about how it made her look younger and completely different.
“Oh how I’ve missed your natural hair. She’s growing!” one fan left a comment on her Instagram. Ariana left a heart emoji on the comment as well.
We even heard from Mama Grande herself. “your natural hair/curls is a world of its own… a magnificent beauty you are inside and out/ made up or natural … I love you…”
Fans even pointed out that they were shocked it was her.
“ARIANA????????” read one tweet while someone else tweeted: “This looks absolutely nothing like the Ariana Grande I done seen.”
“Ariana, is that you? Damn,” another user commented.
All of it seems to be pointing at they love this new look. New as it they haven’t seen it in years. The last time we saw her hair this length was when she was still playing Cat Valentine. That was years ago now too.
Playing Cat Valentine is the exact reason we don’t see her hair naturally anymore. She played Cat for 4 years and the singer let us know what happened. She wrote on facebook in 2014 that she “had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat,” which “completely destroyed” her hair.
Anyone that bleaches their hair can tell you this is true. So while we love seeing it down we know that the singer does have a signature look. And you have to rock what you feel comfortable in.
