Britney Spears took less than 30 minutes to bring in the concerned comments on Tuesday. The 38-year-old pop icon appears to have resumed the sporadic posting behavior that sparked major worries over February and March – from speaking bizarrely in a British accent to delivering 12+ repetitive photos all shot against the same, blush-pink background, the “Toxic” singer had her fans worried earlier this year.
Tuesday brought a fresh – well, sort of – Instagram post as Britney appeared to repost now-deleted content.
Britney’s photo showed her looking right at the camera and, admittedly, looking drop-dead gorgeous. The blonde bombshell was flaunting her cleavage in a low-cut white top with feminine frill details, also rocking a thin-strapped black bra (that may have been a bikini).
Britney’s caption mentioned her curled hair, also sending out love amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I woke up and my hair was curly today !!! I was kind of excited ? I hope you guys are having a wonderful time with your families and remember …. stay safe my friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️??? !!!!!” she wrote.
With over 48,000 likes left in 30 minutes, there was no denying that the post was popular. That said, amid fan gushing, the mom of two did appear to have sparked concern – Britney suffers from bipolar disorder and has been under her father’s conservatorship since 2008.
“You posted this same thing yesterday. Seriously if you need to talk to someone, please reach out,” a fan wrote.
Over 170 users liked the comment.
“No offense to anyone but one of the side effects of taking anti-depressants is Amnesia. I’m seriously concerned about her,” a user replied.
A question that was asked by many, many users.
“Againnn?” one fan wrote.
“Didn’t she post this yesterday?” was another query.
“GIRL THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME” was a reply clocking over 172 likes in 56 minutes.
Britney has spoken out regarding the comments left to her social media – and we’ll note that not all today’s ones were negative, with many fans calling their idol the queen that she is. The star made headlines on March 18 for calling out the trolls filling her social media – she flat-out stated she felt she was being “bullied.”
“I’ve read a lot of things online of people criticising my posts… saying I post the same 15 pictures with the same red background and wearing the same white bathing suit,” Britney said.
“Reading all of the mean comments really hurts my feelings… and I wanted to share because you really shouldn’t be saying all of these mean things to someone you don’t even know… this goes for bullying anyone really!!!!!!” she added.
As to Britney straight-up saying “DM me” as she offered to pay for diapers and food amid COVID-19, no complaints there. Considered a shining light during America’s darkest hour, the singer has, at least, made headlines for digging deep.
