Adele is as excited as we are for the release of “30” this coming Friday, and her recent Instagram post is all the proof we need!
In the latest upload, Adele celebrated the upcoming release of her fourth studio album with a party and shared a few snippets from the festivity.
As expected, Adele dressed to the nines for the event, wearing a jaw-dropping Oscar de la Renta masterpiece. The gold bejeweled long-sleeved dress featured silver lace trimmings and put Adele’s toned, long legs on display.
The ensemble flaunted her impeccable curves, showing the results of her dramatic weight loss transformation. Adele wore her trademark blonde hair in a center-part style, with the tresses flowing down her shoulder as she spoke to the crowd.
Showing her playful side, the slideshow had an image of the “Hello” singer making a silly face and grabbing her bust as her team did the finishing touches on her dress.
It was a cocktail-filled event with the menu being named to match with tracks from “30.” There was “I Drink Wine Spritzer,” “Stumblin In The Dark For A Hand’ n Stormy,” “My Little Love Tail,” and the “Aperologetically Adele Spritz.”
The final photo in the slide showed Adele having a swell time with her gang of friends, including Nicole Richie, as she happily sipped a cocktail. She wrote in the accompanying, “Cocktails and Crying all round.”
Adele On Her Weight Loss
Adele has been making headlines for her promotional CBS special, “One Night Only,” where she sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a heart-to-heart talk.
One of the topics discussed among many was Adele’s shocking weight loss which came to light amid the pandemic, taking the world by storm.
Although the 33-year-old’s weight loss was widely praised by many, some people criticized her for no longer being a representative of plus-sized people. Addressing the backlash, the Tottenham native said:
“I don’t care. Honestly, I am not shocked or even the slightest bit of fazed because my body has been objectified my entire career.”
She shared that she has never pandered to such conversations as she can never fit into societal standards of how a woman should look. She also reiterated that it’s not her job to validate other people’s bodies.

Working Out Calmed Her Anxiety
The mother-of-one also shed light on her weight loss and what seemingly inspired her to start the journey. The 15-time Grammy Award-winner admitted that she never started out with the intention to be slimmer.
According to her, she discovered that going to the gym and working out effectively calmed her anxiety, especially amid her divorce from Simon Konecki.
She noticed that she had panic attacks after separating from her ex-husband, and working out helped her gain control over her body.
