Comments Blocked on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Instagram

It has been difficult enough for both of them to gain the public's liking and the media has been a factor in this. They decided to drag and portray Meghan in a terrible light, tainting her image. Of course with the influence the media has on the people, the people of United Kingdom began to develop a dislike for the former actress. Archie's parents decision to turn off their Instagram comments can be one of their ways to silence their critics on their page.

Meghan Markle provided an insight of the struggles that she has had to endured. In the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey that was released last year she expressed that becoming a member of the royal family has caused a strain in her own quality of life. It seems that her critics have thrown aside the fact the Markle is an individual just like anyone else and with the constant negativity that has been circulating around her was bound to cause some type of harm to her.

Months after the documentary aired Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had made their announcement that they will separating themselves from the Royal family. Their critics had another reason to bash the couple and aim their anger at Meghan. Many blame her for their departure and feel that they have betrayed the Royal family while also living off of taxpayers money. It seems that no matter what Archie's parents do it will be often met with harsh comments by those who fell victim to the media's influence.

On the couple's Instagram page people voiced their disapproval towards them. They would compare her with Kate Middleton or just make blatant rude comments. One user told Meghan that she should delete their account and go live underground in their own little world. Their recent posts were filled with similar negative comments that had thousands of likes by other users. A platform that allows the couple to share information with the world and their admirers had turned into a place where people can continue to talk down on the couple. It is possible that this lead to them disabling their page's comment, no one would want to face that type of continuous criticism online or in real life.
