Thomas Markle, the estranged father of Meghan, is once again making his voice known, something that is increasingly becoming the norm. This time, however, he's criticizing the former royal couple's recent move to Los Angeles amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to Thomas, he believes Meghan and Prince Harry should be with the royal family as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to manifest itself. The outspoken father also took a dig at the couple and their desire to make favorable connections with other celebrities during this time.

On Monday, Thomas Markle spoke with the United Kingdom's Mirror and explained his concerns for how Meghan and Prince Harry were handling the pandemic situation, especially since Prince Charles has tested positive for the coronavirus. He shared that they should be in England, not Los Angeles.

Much like his previous conversations to the various media outlets, Markle also pleaded for his daughter to get in contact with him, despite throwing out a handful of criticisms. This time, he explained that he was in the 'high risk' category for COVID-19 demographics and wished she'd reach out.

"I am in the high-risk category, but now a number of young people are also coming down with it," Markle continued to say. "If I could say anything to Harry and Meghan right now is that life is too short. I would certainly tell them to be careful and I would tell them that I love them. This is the time to think about what is really important in life – it’s too short and unpredictable. While we have to isolate physically, there is no reason to isolate personally from each other at this time."

The estranged father went on to ask for forgiveness from his daughter, citing that he also wanted the opportunity to meet his grandson, Archie, for the first time.

"We all make mistakes and I made a huge mistake," he confessed. "I should forgive them and they should forgive me. Ultimately, maybe it’s time for Archie to say hello to grandpa."

According to the outlet, Meghan has not spoken to her father since he missed the wedding due to suffering a heart attack. Meghan's relationship with her father was further diminished after it was determined Thomas had staged pictures with the paparazzi just prior to the wedding being held.
