Serena Williams knows her tennis dress won't make it onto the courts these days. The 38-year-old former World no. 1 was one of the first celebrities to announce going into quarantine – the novel coronavirus saw Serena announce her "solitude" in mid-March.

Taking to her Instagram stories early this week, the 23-time Grand Slam winner took a break from keeping 2-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. busy for a little selfie time in her home gym. Despite a stressful moment of "I'M COMING BABY!" to the toddler, Serena managed to show off a bit. After all, she's earned it.

'Would've Been So Cute' To Actually Wear It

The videos showed Serena at home and filming herself in a super-tiny and figure-flaunting tennis dress. The Nike number was mint-green, ruffled at the hem for a feminine finish, and 100% flaunting this muscle machine's rock-hard body.

"This is what my outfit was supposed to look like," Serena began, adding that she would've been competing in Miami right now were it not for the global pandemic.

"It is so cute, I absolutely love it," Serena added, although she was quickly interrupted. Her little munchkin was in need of attention, causing Serena to jokingly lose it:

"I'M COMING BABY!" she yelled, then laughing at her own short temper.

Admitted 'Side-Eyeing' 2-Year-Old Daughter When She Coughed

Earlier this month, Serena made headlines for admitting that quarantine – and the coronavirus, in general – had left her both anxious and "on-edge." While a fun TikTok was delivered, the tennis superstar got real.

“Now I've been social distancing for actually a really long time, for probably two weeks now, and every little thing makes me crazy," she began.

"And by anxiety I mean I'm just on edge. Any time anyone sneezes around me or coughs I get crazy. I don't hang out with anyone, and when I say anyone I mean my daughter," she continued, then admitting:

"She coughed, I got angry and gave her a side-eye. I gave her that 'angry' Serena."

Didn't Think COVID-19 Could 'Affect' Her At First

Much like the general public, Serena's initial impressions on the virus now responsible for over 35,000 deaths worldwide was relatively tame.

“It started out with me feeling like, 'Oh it can't really affect me," Serena said, continuing: "And then suddenly Indian Wells was cancelled and I was like, 'Oh, OK, that's weird but I have a little time off and I'm going to enjoy that time off.'"

"And then one cancellation led to another and then led to another and led to all this anxiety that I'm feeling," she added.

February 21 brought a raw moment from Serena as she updated her Instagram with a photo of herself and daughter Olympia in a car. A reported $200 million net worth, flourishing clothing line, and superstar career might see this star appear to have it all, but the caption confessed to inner turmoil.

"I am not sure who took this picture but Working and being a mom is not easy. I am often exhausted, stressed, and then I go play a professional tennis match. We keep going. I am so proud and inspired by the women who do it day in and day out. I’m proud to be this baby’s mama @olympiaohanian. #nofilter #nomakeup #nohairbursh lol #justme," she wrote.
