Derick Dillard has been at odds with TLC and the entire Duggar family for weeks now, and there is no telling for how long this will last. The television star is married to the love of his life, Jill Duggar, but that does not mean that he is married to her family as he ceases any opportunity to call them out for what they put he and his wife through. It’s amazing the things that can go wrong with people who once called themselves family in a blink of an eye.
In the continuous war with TLC and the Duggar family, Dillard recently revealed the type of restrictions she and his wife had to go through while on the show. According to InTouch Weekly, Dillard is now where near done with the network and his wife’s family.
In a recent interview, Dillard disclosed that when it came to announcing personal events in his life or Duggar’s, they were restricted to the official channels only. He went on to say that these life events included when they were expecting a baby.
While speaking with “Without a Crystal Ball” on YouTube, Dillard kept opening up on the unnecessary things his in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar put he and his wife through.
The reality star appeared on “Counting On” and “19 Kids & Counting” with his wife, but unconfirmed reports revealed that Dillard was fired from the series after a while.
The restrictions that Dillard and Duggar has to face was no doubt hurtful because people had to hear about their life events from other sources.
“We weren’t even allowed to be the first ones to announce our own life events; our marriage, our childbirths, our genders of our children.” Dillard mentioned in the interview.
He also went on to say that he if was given the chance to go through experiences again, he would choose to announce his life events by himself and not through official channels. Unfortunately, Dillard would not get that chance, but hopefull,my, his children will be given that opportunity on a platter of gold.
Still on the issue of taking shots at TLC and his in-laws, Dillard further revealed that he and his wife were on the same page. They had always felt like they were being controlled, especially when it came to their personal lives.
For a while now, Dillard has continuously expressed his disappointment with his in-laws and the horrible events they put he and his wife through. The first time he mentioned this, was when he revealed that he and his wife were not allowed in the family home unless Bob is present.
