Okay, so it's not a real game show, but we will be analyzing those points in this article. If you have an itch that only the supernatural can scratch, then you probably already know Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley. Now, we're going to shine a light on the actor's career and finances.

Wesley originally hails from the state of New Jersey but he absorbed less of the NJ culture of his home state and more of the Polish culture he was raised around. In a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, he discussed being raised around his Polish grandparents and how the stories they were always telling influenced him as a storyteller.

Wesley would go on from his NJ childhood to break into acting as a teenager through the world of daytime soap operas. He had small roles on Another World and Guiding Light.

Supernatural fame

His daytime soap roles would eventually lead to guest roles on Everwood and The O.C. under his original name, Paul Wasilewski. He'd take on the stage name "Wesley" sometime in the mid-2000s.

Welsey had acted in small roles alongside big names until landing the role that would define his fame in 2009 on CW's The Vampire Diaries. The show would run eight seasons and 171 episodes. In that time, Welsey would become a supernatural icon next to his co-star Ian Somerhalder which would lead to other gigs in the CW world.

More than an actor

It's probably unsurprising to learn that a lot of actors are more than actors. Most have at least dabbled in other parts of the entertainment industry and outside of it. For Wesley, he'd gain his first credit producing in the 2010 film Norman. He'd then go on to produce episodes of The Vampire Diaries and the upcoming Possessed.

He'd direct for the first time on Season 5 Episode 18 of The Vampire Diaries and would go on to direct in other CW shows. Rosewell, New Mexico; Legacies, and Batwoman to be exact.

Along with all of his work in the entertainment industry, Wesley has business interests outside of Hollywood. With his The Vampire Diaries co-star, Ian Somerhalder, he's started a new bourbon brand that should be launching soon.

So, if we're to take all of these things and mix them into a money blender, what would that look like? Well, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Paul Wesley is worth roughly $6 million. And, that's no small chunk of change. We can expect that to go up with the release of his new whiskey and his future work in television.
