Meadow Walker has sparked concern over her weight. The 21-year-old daughter to deceased “Fast & Furious” star Paul Walker updated her Instagram this weekend with a little bikini action as she enjoyed the Sunday sunshine.
Meadow is currently in quarantine on account of the novel coronavirus. COVID-19 has seen the star mention the global pandemic on her social media, although childhood shots and a photo of Meadow with ice-cream cones over her eyes meant that a recent full body shot hadn’t been seen in weeks.
Meadow’s photo showed her solo and in selfie mode as she snapped her slender frame in a swish poolside setting complete with grass, paving, and cushioned loungers. The social media sensation was showing off her trim frame in an eye-catching patterned bikini in pinkish red and white – a strapless finish was feminine as was a cheeky thong finish, with Meadow also rocking a baseball cap and throwing out the peace sign.
A caption from Meadow gave a nod to the beating rays.
“Vitamin D PSA,” she wrote.
Meadow’s update proved popular by virtue of the 45,000+ likes left in one hour, but the comments section quickly saw users singling the beauty out for her slight proportions.
“Hot but too skinny,” a fan wrote.
“Please gain some weight u will look more beautiful,” another added.
“Eat a pizza” was a more blunt comment, with another fan stating: “Bones.”
“You really need to eat” was yet another remark.
That said, plenty of fans simply sent love and good wishes, also finding that Meadow looked great as she is.
The storm kept going, though.
Meadow’s fans had clearly been reading the already-posted responses, with some jumping to the star’s defense.
“Like I’m sorry but women need to get off their periods and stop taking things to heart it’s embarrassing and gives us guys no space to speak our minds,” one user wrote.
“She’s gorgeous don’t be mean!” another exlaimed.
One user went lengthy:
“Here come all the girls who post things online but don’t expect feedback. You knew you were gunna get a bunch of people defending her. A person they don’t know, they never met and they have no idea about. Whatever your opinion may be , on Instagram girls can dish it out but they can’t take it, they can post pics of themselves half naked or completely naked and not expect comments that don’t tickle their pickle…,” they wrote.
Meadow has posted throwbacks to when city life was normal – a recent post saw her missing the downtown life, but updates from this face tend to err on the artsy front. Last week, Meadow posted an amusing photo of herself with her head thrown back and two pointed ice-cream cones over her eyes – ice-cream was pouring over her face as she posed with her mouth open.
“Quarantine,” she captioned the shot, also tagging her photographer.
Meadow lost her father in 2013, aged just 14. The star later launched the Paul Walker Foundation in her dad’s memory.
Meadow has 2 million Instagram followers.
