More grim details are emerging the wake of Chris Daughtry’s stepdaughter’s death.

Hannah Price, 25, died unexpectedly over the weekend in her home in Nashville, TN.

No details have been released about Hannah’s death, but officials initially were investigating the death as a homicide. However, The Blast has learned that is no longer the case.

According to the Tennesse District Attorney, the ongoing investigation into the death of Hannah Price is not being labeled a homicide and it is too “premature and irresponsible” to consider at this point.

Her mother, Deanna, believes there was foul play involved in her death due to unknown injuries she sustained before being found dead.

Coincidentally, her boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, was arrested the same day she was found.

Jolly has not yet been named a person of interest or a suspect.

Sadly, the 25-year-old had a troublesome past.

In October, Hannah was caught in the cross-hairs of a gang-related attack which left her with a bullet wound to the face and eye.

A few years ago, Hannah and a roommate were reportedly caught up in a run-in with gang members in Humboldt, TN.

As previously mentioned, she sustained injuries after being shot in the face. She underwent surgery and had to be fitted with a prosthetic eye.

Hannah recounted the scary event on Facebook.

“A 15-year-old kid was trying to get into a Crip gang in Humboldt Tennessee and my friend at the time my roommate I barely really knew him took me somewhere where I did not feel safe and these kids tried to kill him but they didn’t have the gun cocked so by the time that I noticed they were trying to shoot at him I was trying to run the kid over with my car and I ended up getting shot in the face by this kid,” she wrote. “I was blind for a little over two weeks and this happened directly after my dad had committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.”

She continued writing, “It was a lot. While in nine hour surgery somebody kicked in my apartment door and stole everything out of my apartment my tvs, Mattresses and clothes it’s been crazy but honestly I’ve had a very positive perspective about it all I do need help which makes me very vulnerable to have.”

Daughtry’s stepdaughter even started a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of medical bills.

She created the page on the fundraising sight on October 19, 2018. Hannah tagged the fundraiser under ‘Medical,’ ‘Illness & Healing.’

Hannah started a GoFundMe to help with her recovery

The GoFundMe page has since been disabled and is no longer accepting donations.

Hannah was ablet to raise $945.00 to put towards her recovery before tragically passing away.

She explained why she started the fundraiser in another post on Facebook.

“Hi I am Hannah Price and I am raising money for my medical bills,” she wrote. “I was airlifted after being shot in Humboldt TN Oct 12 2018 and had emergency surgery. I’m also raising money to pay for my next surgery. I do have insurance so it covers most of it but I have an out-of-pocket pay about $120. I totaled my car whenever I was shot trying to save my friend so I also need to save money to get a new vehicle so that I can start working again.”

However, trouble for Hannah didn’t stop there.

In April, she and Jolly were arrested in connection with a road-rage incident.

According to police reports, the couple waved a .22 caliber gun at the police and were charged with aggravated assault. The reports claim they didn’t fired the gun but were using it as an intimidation tactic.
