Reese Witherspoon is slowly but surely adjusting to life at home as she self-isolates amid the coronavirus pandemic.

And taken into consideration what health officials have said, the “Legally Blonde” actress is taking appropriate measures in making sure that all of her kids have their own space while practicing to social distance themselves from one another.

Reese, who is a mother of three children: Ava, 20, Deacon, 16, and Tennessee, 7, owns a multi-million dollar property in Los Angeles, which she shares with her husband Jim Toth, so keeping away from her family shouldn’t be too difficult.

At least that’s what she thought.

Earlier this week, the 44-year-old hopped on Instagram Live to join Miley Cyrus on her “Bright Minded” talk show, where she shared her experience of regulating to the ‘Safer At Home’ order in California.

“I try to be patient and they try to be patient with me, but we’re only on day 11,” the blonde beauty expressed to Miley.

She later discussed how everyone in her household was coping with the idea of self-isolating themselves from each other.

“Everybody has a room that has a little area and there’s a privacy sign there, so when the privacy sign is on and your headphones are on, you can’t interrupt.”

You have to have rules. We have guidelines on the wall for our family, just so we respect each other’s space.”

And while things are said to be going well for Reese at home, she mentioned that her daughter, Ava, who’d been busy studying at Stanford University before the COVID-19 pandemic, now had to adjust to life back at home, which was proving to be quite a challenge.

The 20-year-old had been “living her own life” and was now forced to return home, but Reese is happy to have her daughter back under her roof regardless. It’s just unfortunate for the mother-of-three that her daughter’s experience at college is being affected by the crisis because Ava had more or less become an independent woman now.

“She was living her own life. Now she can’t see her friends,” the “Big Little Lies” star continued to tell Miley and her viewers.

How The Coronavirus Pandemic Has Affected Her Work

“You have to actually kind of move away from your parents’ ideas, you have to move away from their structure and their routine, and create your own and now you have to go backwards. That must be so frustrating to lose that independence.”

Reese has been busy filming her forthcoming animated flick “Sing 2,” and while there’s been no update on where production currently stands with the animated film, given that she’s been self-isolating with her family at home, it’s more than likely that work on the movie would have halted for the time being.

“Sing 2” has a star-studded cast attached to the project, including Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, and singer Tori Kelly.
