Sommer Ray keeps bringing those little rays of sunshine. The 23-year-old fitness model and social media sensation has made headlines for some pretty disappointing moments amid coronavirus – earlier this week, the blonde hit up a Sprinkles cupcake ATM only to find it broken, with the star’s quarantine diet also proving repetitive as she confessed to “breakfast, lunch, and dinner” being Lucky Charms – two days in a row.
While the Lucky Charms admission saw Sommer admit she “couldn’t be happier,” it was the model’s fans who were smiling after her Friday Instagram update.
Sommer’s Friday Instagram photos showed off her killer bikini body, also announcing some new merch –the Sommer Ray Shop retails sports and swimwear. The sun-drenched shots saw the model posing amid palms and flaunting her fierce, gym-honed body in an attractive and feminine two-piece with a high-waisted finish, plus underwire cupped detailing on the bra-like bikini top.
Sommer posed looking like a bronzed goddess, also throwing out a cheeky thong look as she turned around and rested her arm up against a doorway.
Sommer’s caption mentioned a new drop likely launching at the start of April – while businesses across the U.S. have halted manufacturing, including the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, some celebs are managing to keep their lines going.
Fan responses to the post saw a mix of replies. Sommer’s jaw-dropping body will always bring in the fans, but it looks like the star being a brand ambassador is boosting sales.
“Are you still shipping through this time?!” a hopeful fan asked.
“Ahhhh I’m actually so excited,” another wrote
Sommer wasn’t called “not your average Instagram model” by Forbes for nothing. The blonde’s infectious and goofy personality is half her appeal, with a recent video of Sommer lunging and squatting to Beyonce & Jay-Z’s iconic “Crazy In Love” track making headlines for hitting 1 million views. The view count has since climbed, with the post sitting at 1.5 million views.
Sommer’s overall following has also shot up. Her 2018 Forbes profile came with a mention of her 18.3 million Instagram followers. The figure now sits at 24.6 million.
Despite the beach babe image that recently saw jaws dropped as Sommer posed in a sunset bikini photo, the girl behind the swimwear is just your regular country girl.
“I grew up on a ranch in Colorado, in the middle of nowhere. I raised chickens in 4-H. I was really good at it! I have all blue ribbons. I was a rodeo princess. I’m a country girl, not a fake one. When I go to Country Jam, and I’m in cowboy boots, people always say, ‘She’s fake.’ I’m like, ‘No. I was in 4H!’” Sommer told Forbes.
