Celebrity Couples Who Postponed Their Wedding Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

Everyone is feeling the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, including celebrities.

Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow and her now-husband, Tyler Stanland, married on March 14th right before California went on lockdown. But not all couples who planned for a 2020 wedding will be walking down the aisle this year.

Due to the coronavirus, several Hollywood couples had to postpone their wedding in order to keep themselves, and their guests, healthy and safe.

Here are the couples who won't be saying “I do” as planned:

Katy Perry, who recently announced her pregnancy, was due to marry Orlando Bloom in Japan this summer. The couple got engaged last year on Valentine’s Day. But due to the coronavirus, they’ve postponed their nuptials.

A source told People, “It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant. They were both so elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.”

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark started dating in February 2018, but they didn’t make their first public appearance until June while attending an event in West Hollywood. Later that year, Beau officially joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules.

Their relationship hit several rough patches, but in July 2019 Clark popped the question and the two started planning their wedding!

The ceremony is supposed to be held in October of this year. According to their co-star Brittany Cartwright, who married Stassi’s ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor, the couple is “trying to hold on and pray that they can still have it."

Kent and Emmett were due to wed on April 18th but had to reschedule their special day due to the coronavirus.

The couple is devastated and expressed their sadness on their podcast series, Give Them Lala… with Randall.

Both Lala and Randall admitted to crying over their decision to postpone their wedding. But right now, they’re trying to stay positive.

“April 18 was only special because it was the day I was going to marry you. So, no matter what day we chose, it is still going to be that way,” Lala told her fiance on their podcast.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Cynthia Bailey, was expected to marry Mike Hill this year.

Hill proposed to Bailey in 2019 at the reality star’s wine cellar opening in Atlanta. The engagement was televised on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Bailey announced their October wedding date last year with the Instagram caption:

“SAVE THE DATE...this time & day next year 10/10/20, I will officially be Mrs. Cynthia Denise Bailey-Hill!”

The couple hasn’t said anything yet on whether they attend to push their date back.
