Kim Kardashian was straight up dubbed as looking “uncomfortable” on Thursday – the 39-year-old reality star and makeup mogul quickly made The Daily Mail‘s headlines for her Paris throwback update. The Instagram post showing the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star squeezing her famous frame into a pink Balmain getup had the British newspaper going straight for the awkwardness of the photo.
While fans would likely argue that Kim pulled it off without a hitch – indeed, the KKW Beauty founder looked impeccable – comments have seen trolls trashing the mom of four.
Kim’s photos dated back to early March 2019, when she made a high-profile appearance in Paris alongside 40-year-old sister Kourtney Kardashian, plus “Ye” rapper husband Kanye West.
As to the look, it was definitely tight. The pink getup comprised of a skin-tight pair of pants and wraparound, high-neck jacket was pushing the limits, with Kim also donning matching gloves, plus Yeezy flip-flops. The star had worn three versions of the outfit alongside Kourtney – unfortunately, with the looks worn to a “Sunday Service” held by Kanye, some fans deemed the latex inappropriate for church.
Kim’s photos managed to generate some negativity – this comes after the star’s Instagram was completely taken over by Swifties amid the ongoing Taylor Swift/Kanye West feud that recently unveiled Taylor Swift to be not-quite properly informed of the rapper’s plans during his “Famous” track.
Over on Kim’s Instagram, fans pointed out that the novel coronavirus has now killed over 24,000 people worldwide.
“People are dying Kim,” one fan wrote.
Over 1,000 users liked the following comment.
“People are dying Kim stop posting stupid selfies of yourself.”
Kim had wished fans well in her caption.
“Looking through photos taken from my last trip and missing Paris. Wishing everyone continued health and safety during these difficult times,” she wrote.
Kim can always be relied on for a little honesty. The SKIMS founder has spoken out about her outfit, saying:
“I literally feel like I pulled a muscle in my shoulder,” and adding: “This is f*cking Fashion Week.”
Unfortunately, for Kim, the “uncomfortable” headline made by The Daily Mail appeared echoed by the star’s own fans.
“This looks so uncomfortable,” one user wrote.
Meanwhile, others called her out for not appearing to make any donations to the coronavirus relief effort – while 22-year-old sister Kylie Jenner has donated $1 million, Kim has not made any announcements aside from the below.
Kim made headlines earlier this week as she announced that 20% of sales proceeds from her 2019-founded SKIMS shapewear and clothing brand would be donated to the coronavirus relief via baby2baby.
“As a mother, helping families in need during this time is especially important to me. @baby2baby is on the ground providing essentials to children and families impacted by COVID-19 and are working around the clock to get them diapers, blankets, hygiene products, school supplies and more,” she wrote on Instagram before confirming the donations.
As The Blast documented, many fans felt that a woman whose net worth sits at $350 million shouldn’t have pressured fans to purchase merch at this time – some felt that Kim should make a personal donation.
