Now, let's not pretend that artist feuds are a new concept to us (fans). Since way back, we have witnessed grudges that get escalated to a point where fans take sides and careers are destroyed.

The greatest beef was between 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G (R.I.P to both). Other [infamous feuds] included 50 Cent and Ja Rule, Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma, and many more. Some of the feuds were squashed, while others carry on to this day. The 2nd most famous feud, Taylor Swift versus Kanye West, recently surfaced.

On September 2009, Kanye West stormed the stage during Taylor's acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs. He interrupted her to let everyone know that it's Beyonce who had one of the best videos of all time.

Fast forward to 2016, when Kanye released the song Famous and had lyrics on Taylor Swift that stirred up the feud again. In the lyrics, he says, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous."

After the song dropped, the whole world overturned. Kanye West clarified that he'd called Taylor and asked her for her permission to spit those lines. Taylor's publicist then came forward, saying that Kanye West did not call her for authorization.

Kim Kardashian West, afterward, took to Snapchat to post the video call between the two, where Kanye mentions the lyrics before the song was released. This made everyone side with Kanye. After the incident, Taylor Swift went off the face of the Earth for a whole year.

4 years later to Monday 23rd March, the full version of the video call between Taylor and Kanye was anonymously released. Taylor Swift went on Instagram Story to respond to her fans. She talked about the video being illegally recorded back in 2016. She also mentioned that that video call was edited to show that she was the 'bad guy' and that it made her life and the life of her family and fans, pure hell.

However, she's glad that everyone can finally see that she was 'the good guy' all along. Taylor Swift’s link to coronavirus donations also paint a good picture of her deeds.

Kim Kardashian West, who felt attacked with the video editing accusation, went on Twitter to say that she never edited the video call in 2016. She just sent clip bits of it to Snapchat.

Kim says that the issue Taylor is trying to address – the expletive – is not what they were talking about in 2016. The issue then, was that Taylor's publicist said that Kanye never called to ask for permission, which is a lie, as the video shows. While the feud heats up, fans are left wondering who could have leaked that tape and if this feud will ever end as Kim says, "Nobody cares."
