Season 3 of 'T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle' is set to premiere on VH1 on April 13 and one of the hottest topics of this season is when T.I. spoke on his daughter, Deyjah's hymen on the 'Ladies Like Us' Podcast back in November of last year. The legendary Atlanta rapper said that he had been taking Deyjah to the gynecologist yearly to check on her hymen to see if it was still in tact. His main goal was to see if she had been sexually active.

In the aftermath of the criticism against T.I. on social media, Deyjah had unfollowed him as she was evidently not happy about the situation at all. In the promo for the upcoming third season, she's seen saying “After all of this, it’s changed, honestly." T.I.'s also spoke on this situation and said "Tip has a way of taking things a little too far." Another family member wasn't feeling what went down publicly as she disapprovingly said “Every time I turn on Google, I see your a** up there!”

"Deyjah’s 18, just graduated high school now and she’s attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself," said T.I. on the original Ladies Like Us Podcast. "And yes, not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen."

The backlash was severe on social media as many believed that T.I. was controlling his daughter's body and that she's 18 and shouldn't be policed like this when it comes to her body.

T.I. went on to appear on Jada Pinkett Smith's 'Red Table Talk' show to address the controversy. He says his intentions have been misconstrued and misconceived. He went on to clear the air that he was never in an exam room with Deyjah. Tiny added that this hasn't been happening recently as this all actually happened when Deyjah was 15 and 16. Tiny also clarified that T.I. wasn't the one who scheduled the appointments. T.I. did reveal though that Deyjah had a problem with him discussing this to the world.

Aside from this incident, T.I. has been known over the last five years of doing a great job of using his platform to address social injustices in America such as racism and police brutality. His last album was 'Dime Trap' which was released in October of 2018 and served as his 10th studio album. It was led by the singles "Jefe" featuring Meek Mill, "Wraith" feat. Yo Gotti, and "The Weekend" feat. Young Thug. His "expediTIously" podcast has also been popular on social media.
