Raquel Leviss’ Vanderpump Rules co-stars are allegedly trying to sway her to turn against her boyfriend of four years, James Kennedy, due to his bad behavior on the eighth season of the Bravo reality show.
On March 24, a source told Us Weekly magazine that Leviss was struggling to differentiate between the man she loves at home and the man who surfaces on episodes of the show.
“On the show, Raquel is feeling a lot of pressure to side with the girls because she knows how James’ behavior can be and because she’s new to SUR,” the source said.
“Raquel wishes James would show the side of himself that she gets one-on-one more,” the insider continued.
As fans of Vanderpump Rules may have seen, Leviss was hired at Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood hotspot SUR Restaurant last April and ever since, she’s been working as a waitress alongside her friends and co-stars, including Scheana Marie, Dayna Kathan, Danica Dow, and Charli Burnett.
Leviss was also given an increased role on the show for season eight after previously being seen in a part-time position.
As fans of Vanderpump Rules have likely heard, Kennedy is currently nine months sober and Leviss couldn’t be happier.
“Before quarantine and before coronavirus really blew up, James and Raquel went to Disneyland,” the insider revealed. “They had a great time together and were laughing, joking and being romantic and cuddly. James was being very affectionate with Raquel.”
The couple also celebrated Kennedy’s sobriety with a trip to Disneyland on March 7.
“Happy 9 months,” Leviss wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of a chocolate-covered dessert.
Weeks ago, Kennedy confirmed he nearly nine months sober during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, which followed an episode of Vanderpump Rules in which he sent a number of mean text messages to Leviss.
“I’m going on nine months sober. I haven’t had a drink in nearly nine months and I just feel completely different,” Kennedy told Cohen at the time. “I’ve really taken hold of my life and [am] trying to change it for the better and change our relationship for the better.”
According to Kennedy, he’s gotten sober and decided to stay sober not only for himself, but also for his relationship with Leviss, who he recently credited for being his “rock” through their hard times on Vanderpump Rules.
“I know that I should be doing this for me, but I’m also doing it for my relationship with Raquel,” Kennedy confessed.
To see more of Leviss, Kennedy, and their co-stars, don’t miss new episodes of Vanderpump Rules season eight on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
