The coronavirus pandemic has been doing more than take the lives of hundreds of people throughout the country. It's also affecting people's ability to work and make an income, as a result of countless business closures all over.

And although a stimulus package has been agreed upon by members in the Senate, it will be some time before those payments are issued. International pop sensations, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, are doing their part to help fans out during this trying time, though, as each has made personal donations to people on social media.

According to a report by People Magazine, Swift has made at least two donations of $3,000 to fans who reached out to her on social media, explaining the dire circumstances they've been put in due to the loss of the job amid the coronavirus pandemic.

One loyal fan, in particular, Samantha Jacobson, told People Magazine that she had been a cocktail waitress in Florida for a business that was, ultimately, closed down as a precautionary measure to inhibit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Upon Swift hearing this story, she gifted Jacobson $3,000, which according to the fan, left her 'speechless', to say the least.

"I couldn’t believe someone I had looked up to and love and respected for so long has reached out with such generosity," Jacobson told People. Another fan named India posted to social media that she had lost her job and would remain unemployed for at least six months. Again, Swift saw the struggles that India was going through and donated $3,000 to her, as well.

The fan shared screenshots of the conversation she had with Swift. "India, I'm so sorry things are tough right now and I'd like to gift you $3,000 to help ease that strain. Can you please send the email address for your PayPal account? Love, Taylor," Swift wrote to her fan. Of course, India was in complete shock by the gesture.

Page Six has been reporting on the generous acts of kindness from Ariana Grande, claiming that the 'Thank U, Next' singer has gifted at least 20 different people over the last week. One big-time fan of Grande, and certainly more, now than ever, told Page Six that Grande 'took care of my salary for the month'. Sources have revealed that from those at least 20 different donations, Grande has been sending amounts between $500 to $1000.

And while famous musicians sending personal donations is somewhat odd, although endearing, many have made massive contributions to charitable organizations like food banks, homeless shelters, and medical supply companies.
