Britney Spears is a FREE WOMAN after 13 years.
The history-making hearing took place on Friday, November 12, at a Los Angeles County courthouse.
Judge Brenda Penny agreed with Britney’s legal team that she no longer deserves or NEEDS to be in a conservatorship. She terminated the conservatorship effective immediately.
The Blast previously reported on the hearing and the exciting news.
On Friday, Brit’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, announced during a press conference that the pop singer is now a free woman and she is now able to make any and all decisions pertaining to her life, estate, money, work, etc.
Rosengart is still pushing to have her father and the estate’s former business manager, Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group, to be investigated for financial mismanagement.
Britney is FREE after 13 years!
Britney along with thousands of fans and celebrities celebrated the historical milestone on Friday, but since then the princess of pop has remained relatively quiet on social media.
Yes, she’s been active on her Instagram profile with some rather confusing videos, but she’s stayed pretty tight-lipped on her Instagram Stories.
Luckily for her fans, Britney’s fiancé, Sam Asghari, has been keeping fans updated with what she’s been up to.
On Saturday, November 13, Sam posted a picture of his future wife cuddling their Doberman puppy.
Britney soaks up puppy love
The couple also took in a PAC12 college football game that paid tribute to Britney with a marching band performance. He wrote, “We’re feeling the love.”
Sam then posted another video of their puppy Porsha not listening and being a puppy.
While taking a video of the pooch snootin’ around at night, the personal trainer said, “She never listens. Porsha, let’s go. Unless you start crying, fake crying, then she gets protective.”
Sam & Brit’s puppy, Porsha, is stubborn!
He then let out a fake cry and sure enough little puppy Porsha came running over.
With all of the excitement unfolding across the world in Britney’s honor, it appears her weekend was a lowkey one filled with puppy love.
As we previously reported, fans and celebrities alike rejoiced over Britney’s newfound freedom after being under a conservatorship ruled by her father, Jamie Spears, for 13 years.
