Meghan McCain won't be hosting the show live for the next several months. However, it won't because she's been fired from the show as many fans have requested. Rather McCain announced the great news that she is currently pregnant with her first child and she'll be hosting from home. McCain revealed on today's episode of 'The View' that the craziest part of her pregnancy is that her co-host Whoopi Goldberg was able to predict exactly when she would get pregnant as reported by PopCulutre.

"Whoopi said this to me. Whoopi told me a year ago that I was going to have a child. She told me the gender, and you were 100 percent right, and this doesn't help my feeling that you have psychic abilities that I've always thought you’ve had," McCain revealed on the show. "I told my mother, I was like, 'Whoopi was right about everything including the timing.'"

McCain's psychic theory comes from Whoopi playing a psychic in the renowned 90's movie 'Ghost.'

Whoopi Goldberg played down her psychic abilities and instead responded by congratulating her expecting co-host.

"Fortunately it's working out," Whoopi said. "I'm very pleased. I'm pleased anytime people are celebrating the possibility of a birth. I think it's a good thing."

McCain surprised fans by announcing that she and husband, Ben Domenech, are expecting on Monday, March 23rd's episode of 'The View.'

"Starting immediately, I'll be joining the millions of Americans who are self-isolating as a precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19," she revealed.

"As a result, I will be appearing on The View from home via satellite," she continued.

She also shared the news on twitter writing a lengthy statement. She explained in the statement that she will be in quarantine in order to protect herself and her future child.

"My husband Ben and I have been blessed to find out I'm pregnant," McCain wrote. "Although this isn't how I expected to announce my pregnancy, both we and our families are excited to share the news with your all.

"I consulted with my doctors and they advised me that for the safety of our baby and myself, I should be extra vigilant about limiting the amount of people we come in contact with," she added.

McCain isn't the only 'The View' co-host taking safety precautions during the pandemic. Joy Behar briefly left the show after speaking to doctors and is now hosting from home. Whoopi also recently revealed that she too will be hosting 'The View' from the safety of her home.
