Ariel Winter Spotted Leaving L.A. Studio In Ripped Jeans Despite California Lock-Down

Ariel Winter is back in the news . The 22-year-old actress was spotted leaving a Los Angeles studio on Wednesday – while Ariel being photographed holding a script and at a studio was once considered ordinary, these are different times. The novel coronavirus now responsible for over 19,000 deaths worldwide also sees a quarter of the world's population under lock-down – in California, a "stay at home" order is in place for the state's 39.5 million residents.

COVID-19 may see Ariel update her Instagram with quarantine content, but the paparazzi photos are showing a slightly different story.

Still Going To The Studio

Photos obtained by The Daily Mail showed the "Modern Family" star leaving a studio with boyfriend Luke Benward. Ariel was seen flaunting her slimmed-down frame in an all-black look, sporting tight and ripped black jeans with a simple black t-shirt, plus high-heeled leather booties and a matching bag. The sitcom star's new strawberry-blonde locks were on show, although Ariel had opted low-key overall, appearing 100% makeup-free.

Ariel was snapped carrying scripts and hopping into a Tesla parked outside – Luke was seen in baggy shorts and a red top, plus sneakers.

California Governor Places 'Stay At Home' Order

Las Thursday saw California's Governor Gavin Newsom place the entire state on lock-down via his "stay at home" order. While grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations remain open, non-essential businesses have been told to close their doors – this includes dine-in restaurants, bars, and convention centers.

Speaking to reporters, Newman said:

"This is a moment where we need some straight talk. As individuals and as a community, we need to do more to meet this moment."

"I don't believe the people of California need to be told through law enforcement that it's appropriate just to home-isolate, protect themselves. We are confident that the people of the state of California will abide by it and do the right thing," he added.

Ariel's Quarantine: Smashing Up Her Cardboard Cut-Out With A Baseball Bat

Ariel has been keeping her Instagram followers updated on her social distancing. The ABC face posted videos of herself in her kitchen and having fun with a baseball bat – unusual as it was, the cardboard cut-out bashing of the star's own head proved popular as she rocked yoga pants and a crop top.

"Quarantine cleaning really unearths things you hate as well as great ideas for entertainment," Ariel had captioned the videos.

Meanwhile, Ariel and Luke have been spotted stocking up on groceries – the two are quarantined together with their three dogs. Ariel was also spotted on a solo run where she grabbed some Lucky Charms.

Celebs Testing Positive: Not Just Tom Hanks

The list of celebrities testing positive for coronavirus keeps climbing. Mid-March brought 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson's reveal – the two are feeling "better" since leaving their Australia hospital, but remain in self-isolation.

Also testing positive have been NBA players including Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell, and Christian Wood, plus Rudy Gobert. "Bond" girl Olga Kurylenko, British actor Idris Elba, media personality Andy Cohen, and "Bachelor" alum Colton Underwood join them, as do two "Game of Thrones" stars. Just today, Prince Charles tested positive. The British Royal is 71 years old.
