Amber Heard's latest Instagram update didn't need to mention the novel coronavirus by name. The 33-year-old actress and ex to Johnny Depp was clearly referring to COVID-19 as she mentioned stealing toilet paper – if you aren't in a hard-hit area, toilet roll does seem to be one of the essentials that's so scarce, it's being marked-up.

Amber has disabled comments to her Instagram following immense backlash as 2015-leaked audio of her and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor revealed her confessing to "hitting" Depp with pots and pans – as The Blast documented, fans told the blonde that she'd never be forgiven.

Amber is still posting, though.

Amber's Tuesday photo showed her behind the wheel of a car and solo as she drove in a rather revealing look. The "Aquaman" actress was wearing a long-sleeved black sweater with the sleeves partly rolled-up, also posing with her legs somewhat spread and her left limb up near the car's window – shoes were worn, but pants werent.

Amber looked ahead as she drove, then taking to her caption.

"on my way to steal your toilet paper...," she wrote.

The update clocked over 77,000 likes in under 30 minutes.

Amber has been updating her Instagram amid coronavirus, with today's photo being posted 20 hours after a video showed the blonde carefree and happy as she picked oranges in her front yard. A caption confirmed the star's fruit to be organic and her to be social distancing.

Amber isn't 100% behind closed doors, though. The star has been photographed buying plants in Los Angeles with girlfriend Bianca Butti – the two first sparked romance rumors after they were seen kissing in Palm Springs in January 2020.

The audio confess from Amber made global headlines earlier this year as #JusticeForJohnnyDepp started trending. It saw Heard claim that nobody would ever believe Depp was a victim of domestic violence.

"Do you know I'm a 115, well not anymore, but I was a 115 lb almost 115 lb woman...have I ever been able to knock you off of your feet? Or knock you off balance?" Amber began, adding:

"You're going to get up on the stand, Johnny, and say, 'she started it'? Really? I have never been able to overpower you that's the difference between me and you...and that's a difference, that's a whole world, and there's a jury and there's a judge will see that there's a very big difference between me and you."

March 2019 marked Depp filing a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard, following her Op-Ed in The Washington Post back in December 2018 – Amber didn't name her ex, but she did claim that she was a victim of domestic violence.

The lawsuit has now been attracting celebrity backing, with 51-year-old "No Country For Old Men" actor Javier Bardem defending Depp. Joining him are actress Penelope Cruz, plus Johnny's ex-wife Vanessa Paradis.

Depp has thrown out multiple claims that Amber physically abused him during the couple's brief marriage – these include claims she threw a vodka bottle at him after he asked for a post-nup, with the bottle severing the actor's finger. Amber countered the claim, stating that Depp was high on ecstasy during the time.
