'90 Day Fiance''s Ashley Martson And Jay Smith Are Back Together And Participating In Self-Quarantine

By Yuriy Andriyashchuk

Ashely Marston and Jay Smith appeared on '90 Day Fiance' last year and their relationship was rocky ever since he arrived to the United States from Jamaica. The two ended up getting married but was immediately got cheating as he was seen talking to other women in the area on a dating app. Jay continued to stand by the claim that he was just bored and looked for friends. Ashley ended up contacting one of the women and said that he was trying to invite her to the house.

Ashley continued to tolerate Jay but the last straw was when she found out that he had sex with a woman in the bathroom of a barbershop that he frequently went to. One of the barbers confirmed this and said that this was very disrespectful to the barbershop. Ashley almost got physical with Jay at her home as she called the police and wanted him to leave. She ended up kicking him out of the house but once she was hospitalized for health issues, she let Jay back in the house to take care of her.

Ashley initially filed for divorce, called it off, and then did it again. Now, it seems that the two are back together as she took to Instagram to show a video of her kissing Jay in the bathroom while participating in the Drake "Flip The Switch" challenge. The post's caption read "Damn, maybe this quarantine isn’t so bad after all." Sources close to E! say that they're really trying to make the relationship work this time after plenty of road bumps in the past.

"They are back together and they are trying to make it work out," said the source "[Ashley] wasn't happy without [Jay]. She is trying to make it work, and he is manning up about his behavior more. They rekindled things over the last week or so and they are planning on staying together through the quarantine."

Ashley clarified on Instagram Live at the end of 2019 that she still loved Jay and that at the time, she had to accept the fact that they weren't together. She told viewers that it's okay to cry from pain.

"I just want men and women to both know it's okay to not be okay. It's okay to cry it out. It's okay to not be strong all the time," she shared. "It's okay to fail. Whats not okay is to let it destroy you... To this day I still hurt. I still love him. I just have come to terms with the fact it's over and I'm gonna be okay."

Following Ashley's quarantine post with Jay, the responses were fairly negative. Many questioned why she got back with him even after his constant cheating this is a valid argument. She wasn't treated well by him at all but it seems she is accepting that he is supposedly a changed man. In Touch Weekly added that they are still legally married and not officially divorced. Last summer, Jay was also arrested and faced deportation by ICE after violating a protection from abuse order which was filed by Ashley.
