'Love is Blind' featured 15 men and 15 women that interacted through talking to each other through a wall in a pod. The couples date and get to know each other without seeing each other. Each couple has to get engaged before they are allowed to see each other. They then have 30 days to plan a wedding and explore what everyday life living together is like. After season 1, only 2 couples got married on the show's series finale.

Netflix is positively surprised by how well their new reality TV shows have been perceived.

"It's been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic stories of real people and real stakes," said Brandon Riegg, vp nonfiction and comedy specials at Netflix according to THR. "We pride ourselves on creating a favorite show for any taste, and we're thrilled fans embraced all of these series with such enthusiasm and shared passion.
