The world is scared, because of Coronavirus, and because of it, the world is also bored. Being in self-isolation isn't the most fun thing to do, especially when your children may be as bored as you are. Ellen DeGeneres is also bored, and has been entertaining herself with Legos, and calling her friends left, right and center. One of the people she called was Michelle Obama, the epitome of grace, and this is what the former First Lady had to say about the Obamas' self-isolation routine, to Ellen.

Ellen DeGeneres Is Finding Self-Isolation Tough

Ellen DeGeneres may just be a workaholic, because staying at home while halting production for her show till the end of March is making her very bored, in capital letters. So she has taken to sharing her boredom with the world on social media, wherein she also calls all the people she can, asking them for tips and tricks on what to do to alleviate this staying-at-home stress. Recently, she called Michelle Obama, who has already been sharing her tips on social media, to make sure people stay positive during times of stress.

There Is A Little Netflix Going On At The Obamas'

When Ellen called Michelle Obama, she said they were all home together, trying to keep themselves occupied. Sasha and Malia were in their rooms attending online classes, while Barack Obama was on a conference call in another room. But Michelle admitted to a lot of chilling as well as some Netflix too, to pass away the time. The Obamas' are trying to keep it structured and in a routine. Other than that, they are also remembering the people far less fortunate than them.

Nothing More Important Than Health

Michelle also said, "On the positive side, I know for us, it’s forced us to continue to sit down with each other, have real conversations, really ask questions and figure out how to keep ourselves occupied without just TV or computers". Michelle also pointed out that much like every cloud has a silver lining, the enforced isolation the world is in right now, is bringing families closer than ever. She said it is reminding us all that the most important thing, is our own health.

Michelle Says People Who Are Together & Healthy, Should Be Happy

Michelle Obama advised Ellen that all who are together and healthy should be happy about it. She told Ellen, "It’s a good exercise in reminding us that we just don’t need a lot of the stuff that we have. When times are bad, having each other, having your health ... we can do with a lot less, and I think that’s an important lesson that I want my kids to understand … be grateful for what you have and be ready to share it when the time comes.”
