Kailyn Lowry threw Instagram a giant curveball today. The “Teen Mom 2” star has been making headlines non-stop since announcing baby no.4 is on the way back on February 4 – the blonde has since confirmed that she’ll be welcoming her fourth boy, but her Monday selfie seemed out to suggest that sons Isaac, Lincoln, and Lux might actually be joined by a baby girl.
Kailyn’s photo was a home selfie showing off her growing bump – with nude shot of Kailyn posing during her recent Iceland travels now deleted, it was also the most revealing shot we’ve seen since the scrapped photo.
Kailyn’s photo showed her in front of a faucet and mirror as she snapped herself in a simple black bra with thick straps and a matching pair of briefs. The bump that will be bringing a baby in the summer of 2020 seemed to be growing – Kailyn had opted out of a professional shoot here, going very low-key as she rocked a makeup-free look with her hair tied into scrunched-up bun.
A caption offered a little more.
“I’M HAVING A GIRL! #LinkInBio #SURPRISE,” she wrote.
Kaliyn then disabled comments.
Anyone heading over to Kailyn’s bio then found themselves redirected to The Hollywood Gossip, with the media outlet reporting Kailyn’s recent Q&A. The Pothead haircare founder had admitted that she’d taken some measures to see if a girl could be had.
“But I did talk to my doctor about gender selection [at] my last appointment,” Kailyn said.
Kailyn has 100% confirmed that her fourth child was a boy during a gender reveal – “The kids and I are so excited to be adding another baby boy to the mix,” she had written on Instagram.
Kailyn has been documenting her pregnancy – now likely a concern given that the U.S. is seeing increasing cases of coronavirus. Earlier this month, a promotional post for fertility app Peanut showed a text exchange appearing to see the MTV face text her delivery driver by mistake.
“Guys, the pregnancy brain is real. I just messaged my delivery driver instead of my friend on @peanut . I’m dying!! ?? ,” she began, adding:
“I’ve been having issues keeping food down and I started to worry that I’m depriving the baby, so I decided to message my friend from the @peanut app. I’d been speaking to her for a while and I knew she was going through the same thing. I just wanted to know if something was wrong! Anyway, I’ll always make sure I click on the right app now. Lesson learned! ?”
Kailyn has faced all kinds of trolls since dropping the pregnancy bombshell. The star was slammed for the delivery driver text as fans deemed it fake, she’s been accused of getting paid to have babies, and a coronavirus tweet also raised eyebrows – Kailyn is against vaccination.
Kailyn’s Iceland travels brought a nude photoshoot as the star posed with a horse while wearing nothing but boots. As The Blast documented, immense backlash saw Kailyn quickly delete her photo.
