Oliva Munn has been plagued with a legal battle in the final months of her pregnancy.

Per reports, a wrongful death lawsuit was recently filed against Munn and her mother, Kim Schmid.

The mother-daughter duo was accused of playing a role in the death of a worker who died after suffering injuries on their property.

The worker, Celso Merida, suffered critical injuries after falling from Munn’s roof during a renovation in May.

He passed away a few weeks later and is family is seeking damages from the actress.

Munn and Schmid were accused of negligently hiring an unlicensed contractor who gave Merida the job.

The duo allegedly didn’t provide a safe work environment and appropriate tools to help the late worker perform his job.

Neither Munn nor her mother have responded to the lawsuit.

Munn is currently pregnant with her first child with comedian John Mulaney.
