Paris Hilton Gushes About Father's Reaction To Seeing Her In Wedding Dress: 'Most Wholesome Moment'

Paris Hilton is still soaking in the joy from her fairytale wedding to her husband Carter Reum!

In a new update on her website, Paris detailed some heartwarming and special moments from her big day in a blog letter to fans. Among the noteworthy moments was one of her father Rick Hilton seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress.

In the blog entry titled "My First Reflections On My Dream Wedding And Being A Bride," Paris revealed that she spent quite some time taking pictures with her loved ones, including her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, before getting dressed.

However, upon wearing her wedding dress, doing her makeup, and unveiling herself as a bride, her father couldn't get over how breathtaking his baby girl looked. Paris heartily recalled:

My dad had the sweetest reaction to seeing me in my wedding dress. It was the most wholesome moment. I felt like a little girl again seeing the sparkle in his eyes. It was so obvious how proud he was.

"The Simple Life" star revealed that the emotional moment became heightened when she and Reum did their first look right after.

Paris shared that she begged her now-husband not to cry upon seeing her for the first time, but he couldn't control help it. "Of course, he did cry, but I think I started crying first," she wrote.

Paris also talked about walking down the aisle and the rush of emotions that she felt. The socialite said that hearing Kim Petras perform "Stars Are Blind" as she prepared to walk down the aisle made her feel "butterflies."

Once Petras' performance was over, it was time for Paris to walk down the aisle. "I remember my first two steps down the aisle so clearly. Getting to see the faces of all my loved ones and closest friends out in the crowd, and all their eyes on me, I felt more like a Princess than ever before," she reminisced.

However, for the 40-year-old, the highlight was seeing her groom's handsome face as she struggled to fight the tears. According to her, it was more emotional than the first look.

When she eventually reached the end of the alter and Reum took her hands, Paris confessed that all of her anxiety melted away. She detailed, "Suddenly I wasn't as nervous. Carter has that effect on me… he makes everything feel like a fairy tale. The exchanging of our vows, and then our "I do's" were definitely a dream!"

Paris said "I do" to the love of her life in a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown that featured floral patterns. The magical ceremony was held at her late grandfather Barron Hilton's Bel-Air estate.

In an exclusive report by The Blast, it was reported that Paris wore four dresses during the ceremony, including her wedding gown, a pink dress, a "regal looking white dress" for the reception, and a short gown.

The wedding was bombarded with A-list guests such as Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Emma Roberts, Kimora Lee Simmons, and many more.
