Britney Spears was not happy after being trolled on her Instagram page for posting photos of herself in her grandmother's swimsuit.

The pop star had taken to her social media to gush about the swimwear, which she modeled for her 23.6 million fans while posing in front of a red background.

But it wasn't until Britney started uploading multiple photos of the same at-home photoshoot when people decided to make some not-so-nice remarks about the blonde beauty, wondering why they were being flooded with almost identical photos on their timeline.

A certain group of trolls also made some derogatory comments about Britney’s appearance while criticizing her figure and questioning why she felt the need to post herself wearing the same swimsuit throughout the day.

One Instagram user wrote: “That red background receiving more promo than glory,” while another person commented: “Every time I get a post notification, I just know ‘deep in my heart’ it’s from this same shoot.”

And while people joked about Britney's swimwear, the "Toxic" singer clearly wasn't amused.

After having read some of the things that she came across under her comments section, Britney decided to speak out against the bullies who had made her feel bad for how she chooses to operate her social media platform.

On Tuesday, Britney posted an image with the text: “Nobody watches you harder than the people that can’t stand you.”

The post, which attracted over 400,000 likes in 12 hours, came with a lengthy caption where Britney vented: “I’ve read a lot of things online of people criticizing my posts …. saying I post the same 15 pictures with the same red background and wearing the same white bathing suit.”

The “Do Something” pop star made it known that what she had been reading about herself had deeply offended her, before stressing people to practice the act of being kind to one another without making judgments on others.

“Reading all of the mean comments really hurts my feelings …. and I wanted to share because you really shouldn’t be saying all of these mean things to someone you don’t even know .… this goes for bullying anyone really !!!!!!"

Her post was soon flooded with good wishes from dozens of her industry peers, fans and family members, including sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who left a heart emoji as her way of showing her big sibling some much-deserved support.

“Love you, Britney,” Kylie Richards said, while actress Carmen Electra - who was clearly moved by Britney’s statement - added: “So true.”
