Ariel Winter is shopping for groceries just like the rest of us. The “Modern Family” actress has made headlines for finding unique ways of entertaining herself under the coronavirus quarantine – 22-year-old Ariel got active with a baseball bat in her kitchen just yesterday as she smashed up a giant cardboard cut-out of her own face.
Opting out of any home delivery services, Ariel hit up a local grocery store in Los Angeles on Friday – the state is under lockdown following Governor Gavin Newsom’s “stay at home order.” Essential food runs that are solo aren’t exactly crowd-mingling, though.
Photos obtained by The Daily Mail showed Ariel in the street, plus her purchases. The sitcom star had gone super chill with her wardrobe, also going makeup-free. Ariel was snapped in a slouchy pair of blue pants, pairing them with a loose gray top that the British newspaper noted as being rocked braless – also donned were black glossy boots with metallic studs, plus a marl gray outer layer.
Ariel had bags in both hands (and lots of them), with the camera taking in a box of popular breakfast cereal, Lucky Charms. Ariel isn’t the only famous face chowing down on them, though. Fitness model Sommer Ray recently admitted that she’d eaten nothing but Lucky Charms for all three meals over the past two days.
It’s always going to be fun with Ariel. The ABC star updated her Instagram yesterday with two videos showing the inside of her home. Wearing tight spandex yoga pants and a crop top, the actress was seen getting heavy with the aforementioned baseball bat, also taking to her caption to reveal that social distancing was seeing her discover a whole new side to life.
“quarantine cleaning really unearths things you hate as well as great ideas for entertainment,” she captioned her videos.
If you remember being shocked at 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson announcing that they’d tested positive for COVID-19 over a week ago, you’ve likely softened to the concept of famous faces revealing their diagnoses – the celebrities confirming they’ve tested positive have been mounting up.
Also positive are NBA players including Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Christian Woods, plus “Bachelor” star Colton Underwood, two “Game of Thrones” faces, “Bond” girl Olga Kurylenko, and British actor Idris Elba. Andy Cohen has also contracted the virus.
Coronavirus has completely changed celebrity social media as Hollywood groups together for the greater good. Singer Miley Cyrus has now joined forces with Demi Lovato for the pair’s “BrightMinded” Instgram series, with 27-year-old Miley herself making headlines as she pleaded with fans to both social distance and stop panic buying – Miley wrote that you don’t need “all the soup.”
Kylie Jenner has shared a message from the U.S. Surgeon General, Jennifer Lopez has showcased her quarantine status, with actress Hilary Duff making harsher headlines as she dubbed young millennials “-ssholes” for continuing to party in groups.
