The Rock Has Clever Ways To Handle Working Out In Gyms Without Bathrooms

Working out like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson must be an excruciating task. It literally takes a lot out of you. The problem for The Rock is that he's usually so into the workout that he hardly has time for any type of breaks. Also, when you're pumping the amount of iron that The Rock does you need to head over to a special type of gym. Your neighborhood LA Fitness just doesn't cut it for the former wrestler. He says that a lot of the places that he goes to don't always have a bathroom. That's when he has to come up with "creative" ways to give himself a break. Without necessarily interrupting his work-outs too much.

Talk about an extreme work out! Dwayne Johnson recently confirmed to Esquire magazine that it's not uncommon for him to have to pee in a water bottle when he's working out. The story started gaining some ground when The Rock released a video in which one of these "tainted" bottles could be seen. Naturally, the next time that he sat down for an interview he had to be asked about his potty habits. Dwayne mentions,

"Well, yeah, the headline is actually true, I do pee in my water bottles, but let me give context to that,"

The Rock did not back down and say that the yellow water bottle was just a one-time thing. In fact, he doubled down and mentioned that this is something that he does on a regular basis. Still, he felt the need to justify his "gym habits". The first thing that he did was clarify that he doesn't bring an extra bottle to the gym just in case he gets that urge to go. Instead, he just picks up what he has on hand. The Rock said,

"It's not a water bottle that I've actually purchased solely for water that you wash and you clean when you're done using it. These are just bottles that I'm no longer using."

As we mentioned one of the reasons why The Rock has to resort to this very primitive waste collection technique is because he doesn't go to a fancy gym. At this point in his career, you'd think he'd be able to build a personal gym with a nice bathroom in it. However, Dwayne explains that he still visits some rather remote places to work out. He mentioned the gyms he uses,

"Usually the gyms that I work out in don't have a bathroom, cause they're the iron paradise and there's no bathroom there, it's just hot, sweaty and dirty,"

Other than talking about his peculiar gym habits The Rock also addressed another burning question. Fans really wanted to know if he worked out with Kevin Hart. The Rock was quick to mention that he had not worked out with the Philly native that he's starred alongside within a few movies. He ultimately said that the main reason the two have not become gym buddies is that Kevin's ego could get hurt if he tried working out The Rock!
