Tamra Judge Reveals The Pros And Cons Of 'RHOC,' Dishes On Her On-Air Persona

Tamra Judge appeared on Vicki Gunvalson's podcast series, Whoop It Up with Vicki, on Thursday, March 19, where she opened up about the pros and cons of appearing on The Real Housewives of Orange County and explained her on-air persona to Gunvalson and their listeners.

After announcing she would not be appearing on the Bravo reality series' upcoming 15th season, Judge admitted that she has no regrets about her 12 seasons with the network and would do it again if she could go back in time.

“It’s hard to say what I would do differently. I don’t really have regrets because I feel like I’ve learned from the mistakes I’ve made," Judge told Gunvalson.

"Overall, would I do it again? Absolutely, because so much good came out of it," she continued.

As fans well know, Judge has been flipping houses in the years since she joined the cast and made an impressive $500,000 doing so. She's also launched a CBD business and opened a gym in Southern California.

Although having a platform to launch her businesses and promote those businesses has proven to be quite valuable for Judge, her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County has come with plenty of controversy as well.

"Yes, it’s stressful. Yes, it’s hard. Being attacked constantly on social media no matter what you do… You’re never pretty enough. You’re never good enough. You’re never rich enough. They’re always trying to put you down and that takes getting used to," Judge admitted.

Throughout her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Judge went through a number of heartbreaking moments, including her divorce from ex-husband Simon Barney and her estrangement from her oldest daughter, Sidney Barney, which has since come to an end, and not having the privacy she once did proved to be a challenge for her.

"But having no privacy with your family is super hard when things are not good," Judge admitted.

Judge also experienced happy moments on the show, including her marriage to husband Eddie Judge.

After Gunvalson questioned Judge about her thoughts on the way in which she was portrayed throughout her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Judge said that what fans have seen of her in the "strongest part" of her personality.

“What they see is the strongest part of our personality. So, in the early days, I was very explosive. I said whatever. As you get older, and you see yourself on TV, you either tone it down or you’re completely happy with who you are,” she shared.
