Tom Hardy and Madonna are two popular big names in America's entertainment industry. Hardy is renowned for starring as a gun-toting bloke in action blockbusters, while Madonna gets tons of love for her singing prowess.

Despite being stars in their own rights, Madonna has garnered more fans than Hardy could ever have. Even in their closed circles of A-listers, she stands out for her record-breaking feats, which have earned her critical acclaim from her colleagues.

Since they come from different sections of the entertainment industry, it is not wrong to assume that their paths are like parallel lines never to meet.

However, by a stroke of luck, Madonna came to a movie location—which Hardy was part of the cast. When it seemed like their meeting was inevitable, the "Revenant" star ran away and hid in the most unlikely place. Read on to get the details.

Hardy Was Starstruck

When fans meet the stars they have idolized all their lives, it is not strange for them to react in weird ways— including screaming and even passing out. Although Hardy has revealed that he is a big fan of Madonna, no one would expect him to react like most fans.

Notwithstanding, the actor proved that getting starstruck can happen to anyone, whether you are a star or not. As per Contact music, he could not believe his eyes when he saw the singer for the first time. He was so starstruck that he ran to his car to hide.

"She left me starstruck," Hardy said. "I did what anyone who can't deal with the situation does: I went and hid in the Range Rover. I was sort of prepping for the scene in there, and someone said hello to me, and it was her— she'd somehow managed to get in the back of it!"

Later, the "Inception" star encouraged his faint heart and spoke to his idol. He has no recollection of their conversation as he still could not believe they were sharing the same space.

"Then we had a conversation, which I've completely blacked out because there she was like the Mother Mary in the boot (back) of the f—ng Range Rover, and I was completely starstruck."

Tom Hardy Is Not Attracted To Madonna

Hardy's reaction could have made many assume that he was attracted to her. However, this was not the case as he did not see her as a sexual creature.

On the contrary, he explained that any attraction that could have existed was gone and tagged her as someone's mum to him.

"She's just someone's mum to me, and she looks like a ghost," Hardy said. "I didn't see her as a sexual creature. There was a time when I really would've gone there, but since (she appeared in) the Justin Timberlake video, leaping over cars and things, I just think: 'Enough now.'"

Hardy has Guy Ritchie to thank for his chance encounter with Madonna. At that time, the director was in a long-term relationship with the music artiste. Madonna visited him on the set of "Rock 'n' Rolla" and met Hardy accidentally.

Madonna And Guy Ritchie's Relationship

Two decades ago, Madonna and Ritchie were acquainted by the wife of rock legend, Sting. In a way, she orchestrated the love affair as the couple started a whirlwind romance shortly after meeting each other.

The pair barely dated for a year before walking down the aisle with each other. The marriage lasted for almost a decade but hit the rocks in 2008. Then, the official reason for their separation got tagged as irreconcilable differences.

A year later, Ritchie told HuffPost that he had no regrets about marrying Madonna. "I enjoyed my first marriage. It's definitely not something I regret. The experience was ultimately very positive," He said at that time.

"But you move on, don't you? You're right, I stepped into a soap opera, and I lived in it for quite a long period of my life. I'll probably be more eloquent on it, ten years from now."

Indeed, they have both moved on since the divorce. Ritchie is married to Jacqui Ainsley, while Madonna has had several romantic interests.

Who Is Madonna Dating Now?

After ending her marriage to Ritchie, Madonna was single and ready to mingle. She got back on her relationship horse via a long-term relationship with her choreographer and backup dancer, Brahim Zaibat.

The pop star brought him on her team in 2010 to help push her new Material Girl clothing line collection. Shortly after, a relationship ensued that lasted until 2013.

Next up was a young bloke named Timor Steffens. The personal trainer dated the singer for a few months, a year after her previous breakup.

As of now, the pop star is in a relationship with her backup dancer, Ahlamalik Williams. The pair met in 2015 during her Rebel Heart Tour. Williams followed Madonna on her Madame X Tour in 2019 and 2020 and clearly combined his love life with work life.
