Netflix Is Dropping New Titles in April 2020

With so many people social distancing and self-quarantining in their homes, Netflix may see a lot more use in the coming weeks. If this is the case, it is good news that the streaming platform will introduce a variety of new and familiar content beginning on April 1st. If you are looking for something new to binge while you are at home, you have plenty to look forward to.

From comedy sitcoms to action-packed adventures, Netflix is dropping a lot of entertainment in the near future.

If you are looking for something lighthearted to get your mind off the stressors of the world, Community is there to help you through everything. The series follows the members of a Spanish study group as they navigate community college together.

The Hangover is also coming to Netflix. The film stars Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Bradley Cooper. A bachelor party group gets drunk in Las Vegas and must find their lost friend in the wake of a wild night out on the town.

Several family-friendly entertainment options are coming to Netflix as well. They include Despicable Me. Spirit Riding Free: Riding Academy The Big Show Show, The Last Kids on Earth: Book 2, and StarBeam are released in the coming month as well.

Lethal Weapon and its three sequels are released this month too. Other new offerings include Pokemon the Series: Sun & Moon -- Ultra Legends season 3, and Sherlock Holmes. The Matrix and its two sequels will also be available April 1.

Several comedians are also putting out comedy specials in April. Upcoming specials include David Batra: Elefanten I Rummet and The Iliza Schlesinger Sketch Show on April 1. On April 16, the platform is releasing Mauricio Meirelles: Levando o Caos.

Middleditch & Schwartz is released on April 21 and stars actors Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz. April 24 brings Yours Sincerely, Kanan Gill.

As you can see, a variety of comedy specials are here to lift your spirits throughout the month, even if you are unable to hit up comedy clubs.

Netflix is also bringing some new documentaries to the table, including one called How to Fix a Drug Scandal on April 1. LA Originals, The Innocence Files, and Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story will also drop throughout the month.

Reality television and competitive game shows are also coming back. Netflix will release its fourth season of Nailed It! this month. You can also look forward to getting a Terrace House fix when Terrace House: Tokyo 2019–2020 Part 3 comes out on April 7.
