“Riverdale” star KJ Apa is really coming into his own as a father… maybe a little too much.
The new dad posted a number of videos to his Instagram and Instagram story on Thursday, November 11, and let’s just say his girlfriend, Clara Berry, is rethinking her decision to leave dad and baby alone again.
It’s worth noting that this is the first time KJ has shown off his son, Sasha, in the flesh, and we almost get a full glimpse of the little one’s face.
Up until now, both KJ and Clara have only posted photos of their baby boy in a stroller or his little hands.

KJ & Clara on Parent Duty
In the video posted to his Instagram grid, KJ can be seen rubbing his son’s head while he let out little coos.
KJ motivates his son, Sasha!
His impassioned speech starts out in a low and commanding tone, “You will grow to be the king of these lands. You will grow to rule the people of this earth with all their animals and all their sheeps and all their cows. Why? Because you are my son.”
Anyone else getting ‘Lion King’ vibes up in here?!?
“And you will listen to every word that I say. For every rule that I speak. For every notion that I fathom, you will remember that I am your father and you will listen to me when it comes time for me to give you your milk. You will suck,” he said right before going Sasha started get a bit fussier then when the video started.
KJ ended the video saying, “Awe, I was just kidding.”
Clearly the new dad was just trying to have some fun with his little one and show him a thing or two about acting, but Sasha didn’t take kindly to it and neither did his momma.
Clara commented, “Ok I’ll never leave again 🥺.”
His former co-star Skeet Ulrich commented, “😂😂😂 papa apa.”
Another person replied, “Uff therapy is gonna be expensive 😂.”
KJ wasn’t done having some fun showing of Sasha. He also posted two hilarious videos of himself with the baby during “tummy time.”
This time, KJ went for a less serious approach.
‘Tummy Time’ with KJ & Sasha
KJ posted a video of himself using the ‘botox filter’ on Instagram while his son was moving around on his tummy.
“So for all the first-time parents who are wondering what to do with their baby, um, tummy time is really important. We do this at least once a day. Put the baby on their stomach, lay a blanket on the floor so they don’t catch any germs and it’s really good for their neck, the mobility of their spine and overall blood flow to the respiratory system of the baby’s body,” he informed his fans. “So, yeah, tummy time.”
Honestly, as hysterical as the videos were, it was pretty informative and this is coming from a person with no kids.
I had ZERO clue what “tummy time” actually meant.
The more you know featuring a botoxed KJ Apa!
