Jax Taylor said on a number of occasions throughout Tuesday night's episode of Vanderpump Rules that his and Brittany Cartwright's June 2019 wedding in Kentucky cost a whopping $100,000 and a number of fans online weren't happy about his bragging.

So, after the episode aired, Taylor took to his Twitter page to offer an apology to his fans and followers for his tacky behavior before answering questions about who it was that paid for his pricey nuptials with Cartwright last year.

"I also want to apologize for talking about cost, we are told to talk about what things cost, as you have watched over the years, parties, events, weddings, we always discuss cost/price, it’s per request of the network so that people feel more in the know I guess," Taylor tweeted.

Taylor and Cartwright's wedding aired on Vanderpump Rules's latest episode and featured NSYNC singer Lance Bass as the officiant. Meanwhile, a number of cast members were featured in their bridal party, including Scheana Marie.

While a number of people weren't impressed with the way in which Taylor continued to say that his wedding cost $100,000 as he complained about a cash bar situation after the reception, there were plenty of others who offered Taylor their support and let him know that he didn't have anything to apologize for.

"If I spent [$100,000] on my wedding I would have yelled it looking for vodka as well!" one person said.

"The wedding was beautiful and worth every penny. No apologies necessary," added someone else.

After a number of fans questioned the Vanderpump Rules cast member about who it was that footed the bill for his pricey nuptials in Kentucky, Taylor confirmed that he and Cartwright paid for the event themselves.

"Yes we paid for our whole wedding [Bravo] never paid for anyone’s wedding," he shared.

Right away, a number of his online audience members raised questions about Taylor's claim, with one particular fan saying, "I call bullsh*t!"

While Taylor and Cartwright do make money for their roles on the Bravo series, some of Taylor's followers weren't convinced that he could afford such an elaborate wedding.

As the comments flooded in, one person told Taylor that because he is paid by Bravo, Bravo actually did pay for his wedding.

"Well Bravo paid you & you paid for the wedding so [same difference] I think they realized what a complete ball buster that would be to their budget cos of doing housewives so when you guys and [Shahs of Sunset] came around they’re like no you pay [for] this meal/wedding/vacation we’ll just film," the person suspected.

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
