Daytime television host Ellen DeGeneres seems to be getting cabin fever, demonstrated by the hosts short videos she’s posting to Instagram.

The 62-year-old talk show host posted videos of herself calling fellow celebrity friends while laying on her couch at home, talking about what they’re doing and whether they are as bored as she is.

When she asked Teigen “what’s going on” the model said that they were “just with the kids” which prompted DeGeneres to talk family.

"So you have kids. I wish I had kids right now, I'm so bored," quipped DeGeneres, who has in the past been clear about her decision not to have a family.

"Yeah, we're bored too," Legend admitted to the beloved daytime TV host. Both households appear to be adhering to the self-quarantining that has been advised by the CDC in the face of the CoVid-19 outbreak.

Just days ago, DeGeneres announced on that she would suspend the production of her highly acclaimed show in light of the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.

The virus, which is believed to have started in China, has caused widespread concern and had a negative impact on the economy of the United States, as well as putting stress on the healthcare systems in several other countries. The Centers for Disease Control has encouraged Americans to increase their hand washing, as well as avoiding large crowds.

DeGeneres earlier informed her fans that she would be shooting without a studio audience, in hopes of keeping her fans safe. However, she later announced that she would suspend filming altogether in favor of keeping potentially contagious viewers from passing the virus along to others.

DeGeneres announced her decision via Twitter Friday. She announced the cancelation of shows for the foreseeable future just one day after she said she’d keep filming, likely due to the ever growing threat level being portrayed by officials.

“Hey there. Me again. So, after some more thought, we have decided to suspend production completely until March 30th. We just want to take every precaution to ensure that we do our part to keep everyone healthy. I love you guys, and can’t wait to come back. I’m already bored.” DeGeneres tweeted.

Television shows across the nation have stopped filming in order to keep their cast and crew from having too much contact with a possibly infected person.

Because of the nature of the spreading virus and its ability to be spread before the person is symptomatic, the illness has gained worldwide notoriety.
