Kylie Jenner has seemingly upset the general public with her latest post regarding the global pandemic that is COVID-19. Also known as the Coronavirus, COVID-19 has caused many to seek shelter in their homes, avoiding contact with other people in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus.
Many celebrities have been sharing their thoughts on this historic moment. They have been attempting to keep their fans spirits up through this trying time. However, some celebrities’ hopeful messages are not welcomed by people on social media.
Kylie Jenner posted a message on Twitter wishing her fans well and expressing solidarity during this time of self-quarantine. She stressed that isolation is the key to protecting the most vulnerable in the population.
However, those who left comments were not particularly pleased with this seemingly good-hearted message. They insisted that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star should pay for their rent so that they would not need to leave their homes in the middle of the pandemic to show up to work.
i hope everyone is feeling well! it’s so important right now to self quarantine to ensure we aren’t endangering ourselves or anyone who can’t handle this virus 🤍

Kylie’s older sister, Kim Kardashian West, was given a very similar treatment recently after she posted a photo of herself in self-isolation. In the photo, Kim poses in front of racks of clothes and blows a kiss at the camera.
Kim captioned her photo with a message saying she was sending love to her followers. But many were not happy with this simple note. Some social media users commented on Kim’s post, insisting they needed money to get through this, not love.
This isn’t the first time Kylie faced backlash over a social media post during the COVID-19 outbreak. Before she decided to stay home as much as possible, Kylie upset fans with an Instagram photo shoot.
In the photos, Kylie poses in the middle of her Kylie Cosmetics headquarters, decidedly not self-isolating. As she posed, Kylie placed her finger in her mouth, directly going against recommendations from the CDC not to touch the face. Kylie’s followers accused her of thinking she was invincible to the virus.
Despite all this drama and her initial reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kylie has been showing a much more serious attitude toward this whole self-quarantine thing recently. Reports say she is staying inside with her daughter Stormi Webster and solving jigsaw puzzles.
The makeup mogul took to social media to share her experience with self-isolation, saying she was already prepared for this sort of situation. Kylie compared self-quarantine to her pregnancy with Stormi, saying she stayed home for months at that time.
