As Americans are encouraged to stick to their homes and congregate virtually, many are following their favorite celebs very closely on social media.

The recent arrival of Jennifer Aniston to Instagram prompted many to ask when fellow A-lister and ex-husband Brad Pitt might join the world of virtual connections and bring with him his impressive star power. However, in an interview with E! News' Justin Sylvester at the film's premiere last year, Pitt said that joining Instagram is “never gonna happen” for him, according to E! News. “Well, I never say never. Life’s pretty good without it. I don’t see the point," Pitt went on.

Pitt is has been known to be very much “old school” about technology, as People, reported in a 2016 interview about his and ex Angelina Jolie’s parenting. According to People’s report, Jolie prefers to print the pictures and write things down verses making a digital footprint of her thoughts and photos.

The former couple told interviewers that they actually hire someone to keep their kids safe in the digital world, saying that Pitt hired a cybersecurity team who monitor web and social media usage for their six children.

“It’s a scary new world,” the star said according to People.

“It’s so beyond what we understand,” Jolie said of her and Pitt at the time. “I got in enough trouble,” Jolie says. “It just would have been very documented.”

According to the Latin Times Pitt prefers to focus on producing over everything, including acting.

The “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” star is quoted to have said that he could even consider retiring from acting in favor of producing his own films.

“I’m behind the camera on the producing side and I enjoy that a lot,” Pitt said according to the Latin Times. “But I keep doing less and less. I really believe that overall it’s a younger man’s game — not that there aren’t substantial parts for older characters — I just feel, the game itself, it’ll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all.”

Pitt also said that he’s looking forward to seeing what is going to happen in the film industry in years to come.

Pitt Does Appreciate Streaming Service

The actor said that streaming services are especially interesting to him and that he appreciates what they have to offer thanks to their ability to provide funding for more high-quality projects.

“We’re seeing more writers and directors and actors getting a shot,” he said. “It just tells you how many talented people are out there. I like to think there’s room for both. But I could be a dinosaur and not even know it, man. And the comet could be on the way.”
