Simpson Teased Her New Release
Days before “Particles” release, Simspon had teased that she had a project in the works. As The Blast previously covered, on Thursday, November 10, the 41-year-old first teased the song with a cryptic post.
Alongside a photo of her holding the mic, Simpson wrote in the caption, “11:11.” It didn’t take long for fans to catch the hint as they flooded the comments section, expressing their hope for a new album from the icon.
It’s been more than a decade since Simpson last officially dropped an album. Her last project, “Happy Christmas,” was released in November 2010 and the “Blonde Ambition” star took a hiatus from the music scene.
She made a temporary comeback in 2020 when she released some bonus tracks alongside her tell-all memoir “Open Book.” It is indeed great to have her back!
The “Employee Of The Month” Star Is Four Years Sober
Prior to teasing “Particles,” the last post that Simpson shared was a candid upload discussing her journey to sobriety.
Posting a throwback photo from November 2017 when she was still in the thick of her addiction, Simpson looked unrecognizable. She opened up about her struggle in the caption, noting that she had to put in so much work to shed her past and “take back her light.”
Simpson celebrated being four years sober and encouraged others struggling with addiction with her empowering story.
