Ever since the deadly shooting on the set of Alec Baldwin‘s film “Rust” happened there’s been a non-stop blame game going on between all of the people involved. If there was one person though that could’ve essentially prevented all of this it was ‘Rust’ armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. Ever since the first news broke of the shooting she was labeled as the person in charge of gun safety on set. You just have to look at the events that took place to see she potentially didn’t do a good enough job. Now her defense team is making some pretty bold claims. Going as far as to blame the authorities for allegedly tampering with the scene of the crime!
The Rust Armorer Defense Team Wants To Get Things Cleared Up
“We are asking for a full and complete investigation of all of the facts, including the live rounds themselves, how they ended up in the ‘dummies’ box, and who put them in there,”
Someone Deliberately Wanted To Have Rust Armorer Hannah Gutierrez Lose Her Job
“We are convinced that this was sabotage and Hannah is being framed. We believe that the scene was tampered with as well before the police arrived,”
The Biggest Problem For This Defense Team Is The Lack of Proof
So far they have been unable to provide any type of evidence that would suggest someone other than Hannah Gutierrez-Reed tampered with the rounds. Again, even if she didn’t put the live rounds in, could she still be held liable for the murder? Since it was literally her job description to make sure weapons were ok to fire on set?
