The coronavirus pandemic continues to be a very serious international issue as there are currently over 197,188 cases and over 7,949 reported deaths. Many celebrities have since contracted the virus as well such as Utah Jazz Stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, and Idris Elba yesterday.
Elba noted how he didn’t have any symptoms but has since isolated himself since being tested positive. His wife Sabrina does not have the virus. He has since been active on social media and interacting with fans.
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

One celebrity who is starting to feel very concerned about the virus since Elba contracted it his 50 Cent. He took to his Instagram account to say how he doesn’t want to go outside now while posting the video of Elba’s announcement.
“Oh sit, i’m not coming back out side,” said 50. I’m done with all this sit. I need a drink.”
Sources close to Hollywood Life said that 50 still wont’ stop living his life regardless of the situation, though. They added that he doesn’t let fear get to him.
“50 always plays by his own rules and isn’t going to stop living his life no matter what anybody says,” said the source. “He doesn’t make decisions based on fear because if he did, he wouldn’t be where he is today.”
“He will be really pissed if his upcoming shows are cancelled because when it comes down to it, he wants to do his thing. At the end of the day he’s going to make his own decisions but he will take those things into consideration. He’s very smart and he knows what he’s doing.”
50’s upcoming hosting events are at The Fox Tower in Ledyard, CT on March 24 and the Parq Restaurant & Nightclub in San Diego, CA on April 3. On the east and west coast, there are a lot of restrictions right now regarding the virus as locations such as movie theaters, restaurants, and nightclubs are closing. The restaurants and clubs are being limited to takeout or delivery for food orders. 50’s appearances have a good chance of not happening at the moment.
As far as 50 Cent’s television shows, the final season of ‘Power’ recently concluded and he had plans to air spinoffs of the show. A few days ago, he announced that these shows aren’t happening right now while the coronavirus outbreak continues to be ongoing.
Filming occurs in New York and the coronavirus regulations in the state have become very strict. The spinoffs in place were set to be ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ and ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan.’ The status of ‘Power Book IV: Influence’ and the ‘Power Book V: Force’ are unclear when it comes to the virus but they haven’t even started production yet so this isn’t a huge concern as of now, according to Deadline.
