The first two celebrities to contract COVID-19 are finally out of the hospital. Five days ago Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were tested for the virius that is rocking the world. They both tested positive for COVID-19 and were hospitalized in isolation.

Which is a good thing after all, since isolating them meant they couldn't spread the virus to anyone. It was a good thing all things considered but the couple is finally out of this hospital. Not out of isolation but out of the hospital.

The couple were admitted five days ago for feeling a bit ill. Hanks told Twitter and Instagram, "We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches," Hanks wrote. "Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or the CDC, since Hanks has Type 2 Diabetes he was at higher risk.

"We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches," Hanks told his fans. "Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive."

They are doing alright now though. They are grateful for the staff at the hospital that took such good care of them. They are now in isolation in a rental home.

Their son, Chet, had words for those in a video he posted on Instagram. He is just as fed up with the panic as most of us. He took to a video to just express himself.

"I just want to say to anyone else out there who has loved ones -- or if you, yourself are afflicted with the virus, my prayers go out to you, because a lot of people are suffering other than my parents right now," he said in his video. "I think if you went to the grocery store and hoarded all the toilet paper, you're the problem. You know what I mean? You should just think more of others for once... I know this is crazy, but I'm just wishing everyone the best and we're going to get through this."

He is right. People need to think about others in the world. Panicking isn't going to help anyone. Just stay cautious about what is going on in the world. Know that for most people the recovery time is about 2 weeks. That is to go form feeling the virus to being completely continuous free. COVID-19 runs through a system in about 3-6 days in mild cases. For those who have underlying issues, it can last for about 6 weeks.

It is those who have compromised immune systems we are trying to protect. And those who need extra protection. Just keep others in mind before you hoard things.
