Draya Michele knows how to turn boredom into fun. The “Basketball Wives L.A.” alum has been mentioning the novel coronavirus on her stories – COVID-19 hasn’t yet seen the 35-year-old make a statement about self-isolating, but the social distancing is definitely going on for this reality star and entrepreneur.
Draya’s latest Instagram photo was an overload of underwear as the Mint Swim founder appeared to be sorting through merch. The caption set a challenge, although it did open with a mention that everyone is “bored.”
The photo didn’t show Draya wearing underwear – as an ambassador for Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty line, though, there’s plenty of those – rather, the star was seen holding a pair of light purple panties up as she stood in a blue-walled room and in front of a table stacked with two-pieces.
Draya appeared with a forthright gaze as she showed a little skin in a spaghetti-strapped white top and black sweats, then taking to her caption to share more.
“Ok. Since we’re bored. Best caption wins …. mine are on my story ????,” she wrote.
Draya’s fans were right on this one. Alongside the 22,000+ likes left in one hour, the ex to Orlando Scandrick managed to find her post’s comments section overflowing.
People had been paying attention to the caption.
“Me figuring out what lingerie I’m getting arrested in after breaking quarantine for my D appt ?????,” one user wrote.
“These are not for fupas,” another replied.
“I may have to use these to wipe soon due to the toilet paper shortage “ was another comment.
One user even suggested the underwear could be used as a face mask.
And some might say that’s exactly what it should be. Hollywood faces having tested positive for the virus include 63-year-old “Cast Away” actor Tom Hanks and his wife, British actor Idris Elba, plus NBA faces over in the sports world.
Taylor Swift recently made headlines for encouraging people to stay home. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot has shown herself doing it, calling staying home her “Super Power.”
As to anyone making a few bucks out of the situation, there’s always Scott Disick – the Talentless founder is retailing “PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS” merch for $129.
Perhaps one of the most vocal faces in the coronavirus celebrity addressing has been 27-year-old singer Miley Cyrus. The “SHE IS COMING” singer took to Instagram this week to beg fans to consider how they shop – and not to panic buy.
“Be thoughtful. Respectful. Compassionate. HUMAN. while preparing for social distancing…. NO ONE needs every soup in the store,” the star began, adding:
“The more we hoard the more expensive and sparse necessities will become, leaving many without essentials.”
“This is a great time to practice restraint… it’s incredibly difficult to make smart decisions while panicking , but think twice before following the fear and being inconsiderate. There is enough to go around if we take care of one another. This is a beautiful time to LEAD!” Miley concluded.
